Let's dance before the 3-day July 4th weekend, with a RED WHITE & BLUE NIGHT dance party this Thursday night June 29th at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista. There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food and beverages. And, prizes for best attire. It's a "private party" and this is your invitation. Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. The miraculous DJ Mel Zaragoza will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm.
DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive. Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive. The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.
Last Thursday (June 22nd) was CARIBBEAN NIGHT & HAT CONTEST at Eastlake, with over 20 happy dancers enjoying DJ Bing's's great music, as you can see in the 8 photos below. THURSDAY JUNE 22, 2017, CARIBBEAN NIGHT & HAT CONTEST DANCE PARTY at Eastlake:
FOOD LINE. Above, Nina gave a blessing for the food. Here's a "Thank You", and some credits. Rei and Belen brought fruit. Romi brought yela cake. Nedy brought arroz caldo. Nick & Eden brought macaroni soup and maja blanca. Jake brought leche flan. Madaline brought salad. And, there was more.
BY THE LAKE was a favorite place for photos. Above, Neriza, Geraldine, Edith, Nene and Nedy posed with their hats.
LINE DANCING was non-stop from 6 to 7pm, and off & on the rest of the night. Above, dancing to "Take Me Away" line dance, it was Edith and Belen more-or-less alone in the front line.
BALLROOM DANCING. We guys preferred the ballroom dances. Above, Neriza and Mel danced to "All Of Me".
ALL OF ME. Above, Geraldine and Romi danced the swing or hustle "All Of Me".

It's a fun dance party most every Thursday night with line dances and ballroom dances like swing including Manila Swing (also known as 4-count hustle or Philippine swing or Filipino swing), cha cha, night club 2-step, rumba and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties. This is Thursday night dancing in San Diego. While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance. Hmmm - I bet the simultaneous instructions while others are dancing make these, for example, the best Thursday night cumbia dance lessons in San Diego.
