Let's party again at the Dance Party this Thursday night June 15th at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista. There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food and beverages. It's a "private party" and this is your invitation. Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. The adorable DJ Mel Zaragoza will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm.
DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive. Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive. The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.
Last Thursday (June 8th) was FILIPINO NIGHT DANCE PARTY and Birthday Celebration at Eastlake. There was a lot going on, including celebrating Nick and Eden's recent marriage, and there were about 30 happy dancers enjoying DJ Bing's great music, as you can see in the 10 photos below. THURSDAY JUNE 8, 2017, FILIPINO NIGHT and BIRTHDAY DANCE PARTY at Eastlake:
LOVELY LADIES BY THE LAKE. Above, we see Belen, Rei, Nene and Vicky.
FOOD LINE. Above, Nedy gave a blessing for the food. Here's a "Thank You", and some credits. Rei and Belen brought rellenong bangos and rice. Nedy brought taro dessert. Elma brought pizza and a Red Ribbon birthday cake. Rima brought macaroni salad. Ralph brought pancit. Romy & Marilyn brought a box of avocados, which were gone in 60 seconds. Bert Alota brought papaya. And, there was more.
LINE DANCING was non-stop from 6 to 7pm, and off & on the rest of the night. Above, dancing to "Bachata Risma" line dance, it was Nedy and Belen in the front line.
BALLROOM DANCING. We guys preferred the ballroom dances. Above, Romi and Geraldine danced to "Ang Ganda Ganda Mo".
TANGO. Above, Bert Alota and Neriza danced to "Tango De Milo".
SELFIES were being taken all night. The photo above was one of the cute ones, featuring Eva, Nedy and Angel.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY. Above, there were four June birthday celebrants, preparing to cut the cake, Elma, Lito, Rima and Vicky, while Nedy congratulated them.
SERENADE. Romy sang "You Look Wonderful Tonight" to Elma.
FILIPINO ATTIRE WINNERS. All eleven winners lined up while judges Ruben, Rei and Belen handed out prizes, in the photo above.
CLOSING TIME came and went, and whoever was left gathered for the above group photo, with Josie, Belen, and Rima in front.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties. This is Thursday night dancing in San Diego. While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance. Hmmm - I bet the simultaneous instructions while others are dancing make these, for example, the best Thursday night line dance lessons in San Diego.
