Dance Party at Point Point This Thursday, Feb. 26, 2015

Hello You Wonderful Dancers,  

  We'll party at Point Point Joint this Thursday night Feb. 26, 2015.  This is YOUR INVITATION to join the party.  DJ Bing will play swing, cha cha, cumbia, tango, and many more - and of course - LINE DANCING!  Point Point will offer us dancers their delicious $10 dinner special which includes a soft drink.  (More details below.).   So come on over - Party time:  from 6pm until 10pm at Point Point Joint, 916 E. 8th Street, National City.
  
   Last Thursday at the Chinese New Year Dance Party over 50 dancers packed the Joint, many ladies in Chinese attire.  The following 6 photos tell part of the story.          (Note: If the following photos do not appear when you look at this email, click the words at the top of this email that say something like "Show images which are still blocked to protect your privacy" - I already know who you are):

THURSDAY NIGHT AT POINT POINT JOINT (FEB. 19, 2015):

It was the Chinese New Year Dance Party.  Nene wore a beautiful red Chinese  dress.  She was dancing a bachata with Jake in the photo above.

Lots of line dances as usual, including non-stop from 6 to 7pm.  Above we were "borracho y loco" line dancing to "Bachata Risma", with Edith & Medy in front.

I spotted Susie & DJ Mel dancing to "Tango Mit Fernando".

It was great to see Dolores back again.  She was dancing to the cumbia "Desvelado" with Tito in the photo above.

Eva seems to ALWAYS have a fabulous outfit for these theme-parties.  Both she and Dwayne were in Chinese outfits, also dancing to the cumbia "Desvelado".

I was very fortunate to get to dance with Elsie, who came to Thursday night at Point Point for the first time.  We were dancing Manila Swing to a song called "Two Times" in the photo above.

  It's a fun dance party most every Thursday night at Point Point Joint with line dances and ballroom dances like swing including Manila Swing (also known as 4-count hustle or Philippine swing or Filipino swing), cha cha, night club 2-step, tango and much much more.  For this week's Dance Party on Thursday (February 26, 2015), Point Point Joint Restaurant, 916 E. 8th Street, National City, as usual will offer their special price of $10 for 2-entree dinner plus drink for Thursday Night dancers.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night dancing in San Diego - they are private parties, and this is your invitation to members of the email group to enjoy dancing in Point Point Joint Restaurant, a mere four miles from downtown San Diego.  While the dancing is continuous, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.  Hmmm - I bet the simultaneous instructions while others dance make these, for example, the best cha cha dancing lessons in San Diego.
