Let's Dance at Point Point This Thursday, Mar. 5, 2015

Hi Dancers,  

  Let's party at Point Point Joint this Thursday night Mar. 5, 2015.  This is YOUR INVITATION to join the party.  It'll be DJ Mel (reportedly his last before moving to Italy!).  He'll play swing, cha cha, cumbia, tango, and many more - and of course - LINE DANCING!  Point Point will offer us dancers their delicious $10 dinner special which includes a soft drink.  (More details below.).   So come on over - Party time:  from 6pm until 10pm at Point Point Joint, 916 E. 8th Street, National City.

THURSDAY NIGHT AT POINT POINT JOINT (FEB. 26, 2015):

Lots of line dances - including non-stop from 6pm to 7pm.  Later here's what they looked like dancing to "Love Never Felt So Good", with Florita & Lou in front.

Next, it was one of the 1st-time line dances, "Something Stupid", with Nedy & Nina in front.  Another 1st-time line dance on Thursday was "Hit Me" aka "Baby One More Time".

We guys prefer the ballroom dances.  Above Josie was dancing with Romy to "All This Love" night club 2-step.

Alice came to Thursday night at Point Point for the 1st time.  Above she's dancing with Nickie to "All This Love".

Dolores & Ruben were enjoying the great cha cha "Aguardiente".

Above, the other Romy was enjoying dancing to the cumbia "Desvelado" with Florita.


  It's a fun dance party most every Thursday night at Point Point Joint with line dances and ballroom dances like swing including Manila Swing (also known as 4-count hustle or Philippine swing or Filipino swing), cha cha, night club 2-step, tango and much much more.  For this week's Dance Party on Thursday (March 5, 2015), Point Point Joint Restaurant, 916 E. 8th Street, National City, as usual will offer their special price of $10 for 2-entree dinner plus drink for Thursday Night dancers.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night dancing in San Diego - they are private parties, and this is your invitation to members of the email group to enjoy dancing in Point Point Joint Restaurant, a mere four miles from downtown San Diego.  While the dancing is continuous, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.  Hmmm - I bet the simultaneous instructions while others dance make these, for example, the best bachata dancing lessons in San Diego.
