BALLROOM & LINE DANCE PARTY at Eastlake Thursday August 29, 2024

Hello Dancers,  

  You are invited to a BALLROOM & LINE DANCE PARTY this coming Thursday August 29, 2024, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista, with the spectacular DJ Bing Villafuerte. There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food, and beverages.  It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. DJ Bing will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm.  A warm and dry night is currently forecast.

  DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

A CARIBBEAN HATS, SHORTS & BEACH PARTY was at Eastlake this past Thursday, August 22, 2024, with DJ Nickie Bascos, on a warm and dry night.  There were over 60 in attendance.  Here are 9 photos from last Thursday's busy Dance Party.  Most were copied from earlier Facebook posts:

 

  NINE BY EASTLAKE.  Loida, Lolit, Grace, Edith, Alice, Valerie, Nora, Aurea and Joe posed for the photo above.

 

 

  JANET ON THE BEACH.  Besides Caribbean Hats, it was a Beach Party, and Janet posed on the Eastlake Shores Beach in the photo above.  Three other early bird ladies posed on the beach, and their photos are in the Eastlake Shore Thursday Dance Group Facebook ( https://www.facebook.com/groups/1891499784211962 ).

 

 

  BEFORE EATING, dancers posed for the group photo above. Nedy gave a blessing for the food, and thankfulness for bringing us all together.

 

 

   "THE EASTLAKE DANCERS" performed a special Caribbean line dance called "Caribbean Feeling" ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wJNSINQK9VA ).  Eva, Merely, Irish, Lolit and Valerie posed with Roland in the photo above.

 

 

 

  "THE FRIENDS" in kaleidoscopic colorful blouses danced a special bachata line dance.  "Friends" Eden, Beth, Myra (filling in for Angie the choreographer), Rei, Nedy Belen, Josie, Sheila, Connie and Karina posed for the photo above. 

 

 

  UPCOMING EVENTS for Thursday night dancing at Eastlake.  Ring Girls Grace, Nora, Angie and Lou held up signs with the upcoming schedule for Thursday nights at Eastlake.

 

 

  BALLROOM DANCING was in abundance.  In the photo above, Ver and Lou danced what may have been a cha cha.

 

 

  WINNING COUPLES who were still in Caribbean Hats or Shorts attire at 9pm posed for the photo above.  They were Nora & Joe, Aurea & DJ Nicke, Bing & Janet (who must've just been awarded one of the random prizes), Ric & Connie, Merely & Willie, and Geraldine & Romi. Irish & Roland were also winners, just out of the camera's view. Josie and Valerie were prize donors. Josie handed out prizes.

 

 

  WINNING SINGLES who were still in Caribbean Hats or Shorts attire at 9pm posed for the photo above, well at least most of them.  In this photo we see Beth, Loida, Jhosie, Annie, Manny, Myrna, Nedy, Lou, Eden, Irish, Belen, Estrelle, Minda, and Eva.  Other winners not in this photo were Lolit, Valerie, Grace, Chris, Karina, Mae, Charito, Carmi, Rossana, Ruben, Edna, Sheila and Rocio.

 It's a fun dance party most Thursday nights with line dances and ballroom dances like swing, cha cha, night club 2-step, cumbia, rumba and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night ballroom and line dancing in San Diego. This is the best Thursday night dance in San Diego, with many types of dance. While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
