Hello Dancers, 

    You are invited to a DANCE PARTY this Thursday August 31, 2023, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista. There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food, and beverages.  It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share.  The incredible DJ Bing Villafuerte will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm.  Dry and mild weather is currently forecast for Thursday night. 

 DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

A CARIBBEAN HATS & SHORTS & BEACH PARTY DANCE was at Eastlake last Thursday, August 24th, with DJ Bing Villafuerts, on a warm-weather night.  There were over 40 in attendance.  Here are 8 photos - most were copied from posts on Facebook from last Thursday:

 

 BEACH PARTY.  Well, it was said to be a Caribbean Beach Party, and in the photo above, Gemma went out into the water at Eastlake.

 

 

  GREG AT THE BEACH PARTY.  Greg also waded into the water in the Eastlake Lagoon beach.

 

 

  BY THE LAKE.  Early in the evening there were people posing by Eastlake. In the photo above you see Josie, Alice, Connie, Nora, Nedy, Estrelle and Gemma posing.

 

 

 BEFORE EATING, dancers posed for the group photo above. Nedy gave a blessing for the food, thankfulness for bringing us all together.

 

 

 LINE DANCING was non-stop from 6 to 7pm, and off and on until 10PM.  In the photo above, you can see Janet in front, followed by Annie, Edna and Mona in the second line, more or less.

 

 

  BALLROOM DANCING was plentiful during the night.  In the photo above we see Rossana and Joe dancing to what appears to have been a cha cha.

 

 

 

 WINNING COUPLES with Caribbean hats attire lined up for the photo above.  They were DJ Bing & Janet, Irish & Roland, Faye & John, Lolit & Michael, Connie & Pic, Eva & Dwayne, and Joe & Nora.  Judge Edith and prize-donor Josie are also in the photo. Two other couples, Apple & Victor and Greg & Edna, were also winners but were not in this photo.

Thursday, September 21, 2023:  ARABIAN NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. Costumed winners vie for prizes.  DJ Bing Villafuerte.



  It's a fun dance party most Thursday nights with line dances and ballroom dances like swing, cha cha, night club 2-step, cumbia, rumba and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night ballroom and line dancing in San Diego. This is the best Thursday night dance in San Diego, with many types of dance. While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
