DANCE PARTY at Eastlake Thursday August 17, 2023

Hello Dancers, 

    You are invited to a DANCE PARTY this Thursday August 17, 2023, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista. There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food, and beverages.  It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share.  The amazing DJ Bing Villafuerte will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm.  A warm and dry night is currently forecast for Thursday night. 

 DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

AN AUGUST BIRTHDAYS DANCE PARTY was at Eastlake last Thursday, August 10th, with DJ Nickie Bascos, on a mild-weather night.  There were 50 in attendance.  Here are 7 photos - most were copied from posts on Facebook:

 

 BY THE LAKE.  Early in the evening there were people posing by Eastlake. In the photo above you see Nedy, Aurea, Rei, Nora, Edith, Estrelle, Faye, John and Manny.

 

 

 BEFORE EATING, dancers posed for the group photo above. Nedy gave a blessing for the food, thankfulness for bringing us all together. 

 

 

 LINE DANCING was non-stop from 6 to 7pm, and off and on until 10PM.  In the photo above, you can see Josie, Edith, first-timer Fe, Lydia and first-timer Adam in the front line, more or less.  I'm not sure what the dance was, but "Blurred Lines" ( http://youtu.be/6wp4b6xtaZw ) was played about that time at the party.

 

 

  ELVIS PRECISELY flew in from Hawaii before the big fire to give a special performance at Eastlake.  In the photo above, he was next to birthday celebrants Delia, Gemma and Rossana.

 

 

  THE BIRTHDAY CAKE in the photo above was one of three cakes.  This one was baked by Veronica and it was a delicious chocolate layer cake with chocolate mousse filling.

 

 

  BIRTHDAY CELEBRANTS with August birthdays, posing with their cakes, were Gemma, Romy, Rossana and Delia.

 

 

BALLROOM DANCING was plentiful during the night.  But in the photo above dancers got exuberant with, I believe it was, "Rock & Roll Music" ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IRF6nmqcbxo ), and people cheered on Mel who danced with many ladies including Lolit.

Thursday, September 7, 2023: SEPTEMBER BIRTHDAYS DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. Roses for birthday ladies. Balloons. DJ Bing Villafuerte.


  It's a fun dance party most Thursday nights with line dances and ballroom dances like swing, cha cha, night club 2-step, cumbia, rumba and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night ballroom and line dancing in San Diego. This is the best Thursday night dance in San Diego, with many types of dance. While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
