COWBOY & WESTERN NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Eastlake This Thursday February 6, 2020

Hello Dancers,  

 OK, the Kansas City Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49'ers in the Super Bowl today.  Now, let's think about dancing. You are invited to a COWBOY & WESTERN NIGHT DANCE PARTY this Thursday February 6, 2020, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista. There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food, beverages, and prizes for best attire. It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. The adorable DJ Nickie Bascos will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm.

DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

Last Thursday (January 30th) was a great DANCE PARTY at Eastlake.  There were about 30 dancers enjoying the music of DJ Bing Villafuerte, as you can see in the 4 photos below.

THURSDAY January 30, 2020, DANCE PARTY at Eastlake:

GROUP PHOTO BEFORE FOOD. Dancers posed for this photo above before eating. Here is a big "THANK YOU" to people who brought a lot of delicious food.    Karina brought peanuts. Rei brought salad and chocolate cake.  Minda brought cocoanut chicken and cookies. Beth brought pancit. Dina and Errol brought beef steak. Juliet brought garlic bread.  Bert Alota brought papaya. Nick & Eden brought chicken macaroni soup and rice.  Zeny brought biko ube dessert. Connie & Rick brought a fruits & vegetables platter. LINE DANCING was non-stop from 6 to 7pm, then it alternated with ballroom dancing until 10pm.  In the photo above Dina and Edith were in the front line, more or less, dancing to "Baila Baila" line dance, a relatively new line dance at Eastlake.

BALLROOM DANCING alternated with line dancing until 10pm.  In the photo above, Bert Alota and Mona were dancing to "I Will Always Love You".

WEST COAST SWING.  Chito and Cindy demonstrated a skillful West Coast Swing to the song "Black Velvet".

Thursday, February 13, 2020:  VALENTINES & FEBRUARY BIRTHDAYS DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. DJ Mel Zaragoza. Each lady will get a rose. Try to attend, because the clubhouse will be unavailable until mid-March.

Thursday, February 20 - March 12, 2020: No dances at Eastlake because the clubhouse will be closed.

Thursday, March 19, 2020:  MARCH BIRTHDAYS DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. DJ Bing villafuerte. Roses for birthday ladies.  Balloons for birthday guys.


  It's a fun dance party most Thursday nights with line dances and ballroom dances like swing including cha cha, night club 2-step, rumba and much much more.

Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night dancing in San Diego.  While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
