 Sorry. NO Dance Party this Thursday February 20, 2020, at Eastlake.  The next one will be March 19th.  The Eastlake clubhouse is to be renovated.

Last Thursday (February 13th) was a great VALENTINES & BIRTHDAY DANCE PARTY at Eastlake.  There were over 30 dancers enjoying the music of DJ Mel Zaragoza.  Thanks to photographers like Ric and Romi you can see some of the fun in the 11 photos below, and over 100 more in the EastLake Shore Thursday Dance Group Facebook.

THURSDAY February 13, 2020, VALENTINES & FEBRUARY BIRTHDAYS DANCE PARTY at Eastlake:

LINE DANCING was non-stop from 6 to 7pm, then it alternated with ballroom dancing until 10pm.  In the photo above Nene was in front, followed by Evelyn and Edith, dancing to "Together Again" line dance, I think.  The photo is from the EastLake Shore Thursday Dance Group Facebook. GROUP PHOTO BEFORE FOOD. Dancers posed for this photo above before eating. Here is a big "THANK YOU" to people who brought a lot of delicious food.    Karina brought mochico.  Minda brought ginger cookies. Beth brought tangerines & snacks.  Nick & Eden brought chili and sausage.  Connie & Rick brought fruits. Estrelle brought embutido & fish filets.  Carmen brought fruits & heart-shaped cookies.  Geraldine brought a chocolate cake. Faye brought peanuts.  Ralph brought 3 pizzas.  Nene brought laing. Veronica brought a big ube birthday cake.  Del & Rick brought bibingka.  And, there was more.

BALLROOM DANCING alternated with line dancing until 10pm.  In the photo above, Rima was dancing with DJ Mel to "Nikita", I think.

VALENTINE CAKE was one of 2 cakes we had.  This chocolate Valentines Cake was brought by Geraldine.

BIRTHDAY CAKE with red roses was brought by Veronica.  It was an ube cake, under the frosting.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY.  Well, I was the only February birthday celebrant this year.  In the photo above, courtesy of Ric in the EastLake Shore Thursday Dance Group Facebook, I was greeted by Edith, Estrelle, Nene and Nina, with the Happy Birthday Song.

HEALTHY VALENTINE HEARTS were in abundance.  In the photo above from the EastLake Shore Thursday Dance Group Facebook, Romi and Geraldine looked very heart-healthy.

Thursday, March 19, 2020:  MARCH BIRTHDAYS DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. DJ Bing Villafuerte. Roses for birthday ladies.  Balloons for birthday guys.

Thursday, March 26, 2020:  BLACK & WHITE NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. DJ Mel Zaragoza. Prizes for best attire.

Thursday, April 2, 2020:  DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. DJ Bing Villafuerte.

  It's a fun dance party most Thursday nights with line dances and ballroom dances like swing including cha cha, night club 2-step, rumba and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night dancing in San Diego.  While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
