DANCE PARTY at Eastlake This Thursday January 16, 2020

Hello Dancers,   

 You are invited to a DANCE PARTY this Thursday January 16, 2020, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista. There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food, and beverages. It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. The incredible DJ Bing Villafuerte will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm. 

DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

Last Thursday (January 9th) was a great JANUARY BIRTHDAYS DANCE PARTY at Eastlake.  There were about 30 dancers enjoying the music of DJ Nickie Bascos, as you can see in the 4 photos below.

THURSDAY January 9, 2019, JANUARY BIRTHDAYS DANCE PARTY at Eastlake:

GROUP PHOTO BEFORE FOOD. Dancers posed for this photo above before eating. Here is a big "THANK YOU" to people who brought a lot of delicious food.  Beth brought pancit.  Connie & Rick brought almond chocolates. Nene brought food.  Karina brought okoy. Nedy brought food. Dina and Errol brought pancit. Faye brought chiffon cake. Mel Paiste brought sotanghon with patola and shrimp.  Estrelle brought fried rice. Rei brought salad, puto pao and suman.  Minda brought salad. Juliet brought garlic bread. Sheila brought cookies.  Jovy brought fruits.  Bert Alota brought papaya. Cet and Violi brought pizza.  And, there was more.

BALLROOM DANCING alternated with line dancing until 10pm.  In the photo above, copied from Nedy's Facebook, Nedy was dancing with Bert Alota to "Rock and Roll Music", I believe.  

BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION. Ruben, Mel Paiste, Connie and Janette have birthdays in January, and they posed behind a Strawberry Birthday Cake that was provided by Myra.

LINE DANCING was non-stop from 6 to 7pm, then it alternated with ballroom dancing until 10pm.  The photo above was courtesy of Ric.  It's in the EastLake Shore Thursday Dance Group Facebook.  Janette and Dina were in the front line, more or less, dancing.  I believe it was "Uptown Funk" line dance.

Thursday, January 30, 2020: DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. DJ Bing Villafuerte.


Thursday, February 6, 2020:  COWBOY & WESTERN DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. Prizes for best attire. DJ Nickie Bascos.


  It's a fun dance party most Thursday nights with line dances and ballroom dances like swing including cha cha, night club 2-step, rumba and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night dancing in San Diego.  While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
