THURSDAY January 16, 2020, DANCE PARTY at Eastlake:
GROUP PHOTO BEFORE FOOD. Dancers posed for this photo above before eating. Here is a big "THANK YOU" to people who brought a lot of delicious food. Connie & Rick brought a fruits & vegetables platter. Karina brought tuna sandwiches. Nedy brought pancit palabok. Mel Paiste brought sotanghon with patola and shrimp. Estrelle brought beef meatballs. Rei brought salad and cakes. Minda brought guavas. Sheila brought corn bread. Jovy brought chicken. Carmen brought kutchinta. Del brought rice cake. Rosie brought Mongolian beef. Elma brought pizza. And, there was more. The photo above was courtesy of Ric.
LINE DANCING was non-stop from 6 to 7pm, then it alternated with ballroom dancing until 10pm. In the photo above from Nedy's Facebook, Nedy and Minda were in the front line, more or less, dancing. I believe it was "Take Me Away" line dance.
BALLROOM DANCING alternated with line dancing until 10pm. In the photo above, DJ Mel was dancing with Elma to the rumba "Amor Eterno".

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties. This is Thursday night dancing in San Diego. While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
