You are invited to a NEW YEAR & MASQUERADE DANCE PARTY this Thursday December 26, 2019, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista. There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food, beverages, and prizes for best attire. It's a "private party" and this is your invitation. Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. The wonderful DJ Mel Zaragoza will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm.
DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive. Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive. The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.
Last Thursday (December 19th) was a great CHRISTMAS DANCE PARTY at Eastlake. Thanks in part to Nickie's Angels, a couple 1st-timers and some dancers returning after months away, there were about 50 dancers, the most since last Christmas, enjoying the music of DJ Nickie Bascos, as you can see in the 6 photos below.

THURSDAY December 19, 2019, CHRISTMAS DANCE PARTY at Eastlake:
LINE DANCING was non-stop from 6 to 7pm, then it alternated with ballroom dancing until 10pm. In the photo above, Arlene, Nedy and Estrelle were in front, more or less, as line dancers enjoyed a relatively new one, the "Senorita" line dance.

Carmen brought banana lumpia and walnut pies. Mel Paiste brought pancit canton with bell peppers and shrimp. Estrelle brought chicken sandwiches. Nedy brought noodles. Connie & Ric brought a fruit & veggie platter. Rei brought salad. Belen brought assorted cakes. Jovy brought pineapple cake. Alice brought empanadas. Zeny brought fruit salad. Bert Alota brought pineapple. Nick & Eden brought munggo and rice. Minda brought fish ceviche and blueberry muffins. Juliette brought cookies. Nene brought macaroons. Pat E brought chicken. Karina brought carbonara. Sheila brought ube, chocolate cake & jello. Rosie brought chop suey. Fred brought pizza. Hector brought beef. And, there was more.
DJ NICKIE kept the music going all night.

MISTLETOE was hanging in the room. Most ladies stayed away from it, to avoid being kissed. But, in the photo above, Rei and Mark kissed under the mistletoe and in front of cameras.
BALLROOM DANCING alternated with line dancing until 10pm. Ric gave me a new camera !!! In the photo above, Connie was dancing with Ric to "I Wanna Dance With Somebody".

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties. This is Thursday night dancing in San Diego. While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
