CHRISTMAS DANCE PARTY at Eastlake This Thursday December 19, 2019

Hello Dancers,   

 You are invited to a CHRISTMAS DANCE PARTY this Thursday December 19, 2019, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista. There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food, and beverages. It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. The marvelous DJ Nickie Bascos will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm. 

DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

Last Thursday (December 12th) was a great DECEMBER BIRTHDAYS DANCE PARTY at Eastlake.  There were about 30 dancers enjoying the music of DJ Bing Villafuerte, as you can see in the 5 photos below.

THURSDAY December 12, 2019, DECEMBER BIRTHDAYS DANCE PARTY at Eastlake:

GROUP PHOTO BEFORE FOOD. Dancers posed for this photo above before eating. Here is a big "THANK YOU" to people who brought delicious food.  Beth brought persimmons and guavas.  Del brought rice cakes. Carmen brought fried rice and puto. Mel Paiste brought sotanghon with patola and shrimp.  Estrelle brought menudo and fried rice and a cake.  Nedy brought corned beef.  Connie & Rick brought cheese rolls. Rei brought kale salad and tangerines.  Belen brought assorted cakes. Jovy brought chicken wings. Alice brought banana bread.  Zeny brought leche flan.  Bert Alota brought papaya.  And, there was more.

BALLROOM DANCING alternated with line dancing until 10pm.  In the photo above, first-timer Alice was dancing with Rick to a tango. 

SELFIES were taken by the dozen.  In the selfie above, copied from Nedy's Facebook, Arlene, Estrelle and Nedy posed while dancers danced.

BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION.  December birthday celebrants Estrelle and Carmen were blowing out candles on their birthday cakes in the photo above.  The photo was courtesy of Rick and Connie, and copied from the EastLake Shore Thursday Dance Group Facebook.

LINE DANCING was non-stop from 6 to 7pm, then it alternated with ballroom dancing until 10pm.  In the photo above, also copied from the EastLake Shore Thursday Dance Group Facebook, Beth and Connie were in front, more or less, as line dancers enjoyed a relatively old one, the "Tennessee Waltz" line dance.

Thursday, January 9, 2019: JANUARY BIRTHDAYS DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913, with roses for birthday ladies, balloons and cake. DJ Nickie Bascos.


  It's a fun dance party most Thursday nights with line dances and ballroom dances like swing including cha cha, night club 2-step, rumba and much much more.

Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night dancing in San Diego.  While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
