SAFARI & ANIMAL PRINTS NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Eastlake This Thursday July 25, 2019

Hello Dancers,   

 You are invited to a SAFARI & ANIMAL PRINTS NIGHT DANCE PARTY this Thursday July 25, 2019, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista. There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food, and beverages. It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. There'll be prizes for best SAFARI & ANIMAL PRINTS attire. The adorable DJ Mel Zaragoza will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm. 

DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

Last Thursday (July 18th), there was NO DANCE at Eastlake, due to another group using the clubhouse.

FLASHBACK to 2017:

WINNERS of the 2017 SAFARI & ANIMAL PRINTS NIGHT best attire prizes lined up to get their prizes from judges Edith and Nina on July 20, 2017.  Geraldine, Vicky, Edith R, Neriza, Jake, Nene and Eva.



FLASHBACK to 2018: 

The 2018 SAFARI & ANIMAL PRINTS NIGHT BEST ATTIRE WINNERS were recognized in two groups on July 19, 2018.  Above, the winners of the first group wore animal prints covering both top and bottom.  Eden, Neriza, Geraldine, Rosa, Eva, Nene and Nedy lined up with judges Nina and Edith.

The 2018 TOPS-ONLY ANIMAL PRINTS NIGHT BEST ATTIRE WINNERS were recognized in the second group, which was for those wearing animal prints tops.  Beth, Rei, Belen, Josie, Trining and Karina posed with judge Edith.

Thursday, August 8, 2019:  AUGUST BIRTHDAYS PARTY DANCE at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. Cake. Balloons. Roses for birthday ladies. DJ Nickie Bascos.  


Thursday, August 15, 2019:  No Dance.  Sorry, the Clubhouse is reserved by another Eastlake group.


Thursday, August 22, 2019:  HAWAIIAN NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. Prizes for best attire.  DJ Mel Zaragoza.


  It's a fun dance party most Thursday nights with line dances and ballroom dances like swing including cha cha, night club 2-step, rumba and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night dancing in San Diego.  While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
