NO DANCE PARTY at Eastlake This Thursday July 18, 2019

Hello Dancers,   

 Sorry, NO dance, again, this Thursday at Eastlake, because another Eastlake group is using the clubhouse.  But, on Thursday July 25, 2019, come back to Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista, for a SAFARI & ANIMAL PRINTS Dance Party, with line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm. 


Last Thursday (July 11th) was a great BIRTHDAY PARTY DANCE at Eastlake.  Thanks in part to 5 first-timers, DANCESATION stars, and Nickie's Angels there were were about 40 dancers enjoying the music of DJ Nickie Bascos, as you can see in the 7 photos below.

THURSDAY July 11, 2019, DANCE PARTY at Eastlake:

BY THE LAKE.  Posing by Eastlake in the photo above, it was Edith, Lennie, Nene and Nedy, in a photo from Nedy's Facebook.  Also check out the EastLake Shore Thursday Dance Group Facebook.

LINE DANCING was enjoyed non-stop from 6 to 7pm, then off & on until 10.  In the photo above, we see Eden, Edith and Beth in front dancing to "Bajo La Luna".

POSE BEFORE FOOD TIME. Dancers posed for the photo above before eating. Here's a "Thank You", and some credits for delicious food.  Beth brought watermelon. Nick & Eden brought chicken pinola and rice. Estrelle brought chicken nuggets. Karina brought carbonara. Rosa brought suman and Filipino french fries. Rick & Connie brought cheese rolls dessert.  Sheila brought watermelon. Geraldine brought chiffon cake. Nene brought puto. Eva brought ice cream.  Jovie brought watermelon and salad. Rosie brought torta. Mel Zaragoza brought pork steak bibinka.  Veronica brought a huge birthday cake and tupig.  Elma brought boiled banana casserole. And, there was more.

BALLROOM DANCING alternated with line dancing from 7 - 10pm.  In the photo above, Janette and DJ Mel were dancing to the bachata "Careless Whisper".

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Mel Zaragoza who was the only person with a July birthday that night.

TANGO.  DANCESATION's Bert Velasco was dancing with Nedy to the tango "Sognando Angelica" in the photo above.

WOOLY BULLY.  First-timers Rick and Pat became the center of attention dancing with gusto to "Wooly Bully".

Thursday, August 8, 2019:  AUGUST BIRTHDAYS PARTY DANCE at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. Cake. Balloons. Roses for birthday ladies. DJ Nickie Bascos.  


  It's a fun dance party on most Thursday nights with line dances and ballroom dances like swing including cha cha, night club 2-step, rumba and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night dancing in San Diego.  While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
