MARDI GRAS DANCE PARTY at Eastlake This Thursday February 28, 2019

Hello Dancers,   

 You are invited to a MARDIS GRAS DANCE PARTY this Thursday February 28, 2019, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista. There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food, and beverages, and prizes for Best Attire. It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. The wonderful DJ Bing Villafuerte will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm. 

DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

Last Thursday (February 21st) was a great DANCE PARTY at Eastlake.  Thanks in part to some Forever Lions Club dancers, and Nickie's Angels, there were over 30 dancers enjoying the music of DJ Nickie Bascos, as you can see in the 4 photos below.

THURSDAY FEBRUARY 21, 2019, DANCE PARTY at Eastlake:

LINE DANCING  was non-stop from 6pm - 7pm, and then off & on until 10. In the photo above, folks were line dancing to a "Blurred Lines", with Edith and Romi in front, more or less. 

POSE BEFORE FOOD TIME. Dancers posed for a photo before eating.  Here's a "Thank You", and some credits for very delicious food. Nick & Eden brought pancit. Beth brought arroz caldo. Carmen brought ginataang munggo. Rei and Belen brought salad and quiche. Eva and Dwayne brought pizza. Geraldine brought pork sinigang. Estrelle brought sandwiches of ham salad. And, there was more.

TANGO DANCING.  We guys preferred ballroom dances. Above, Eva and Dwayne were dancing to "La Cumparsita" tango.

Thursday, March 28, 2019:  DISNEY NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. Prizes for Best Attire (lots of Disney costumes on EBay).  DJ Bing Villafuerte.


  It's a fun dance party most every Thursday night with line dances and ballroom dances like swing including cha cha, night club 2-step, rumba and much much more.

Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night dancing in San Diego.  While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
