DANCE PARTY at Eastlake This Thursday February 7, 2019

Hello Dancers,   

 You are invited to a DANCE PARTY this Thursday February 7, 2019, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista. There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food, and beverages. It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. The adorable DJ Mel Zaragoza will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm. 

DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

Last Thursday (January 31st) was a festive CHINESE NEW YEAR DANCE PARTY at Eastlake.  On another rainy Thursday night, there were about 25 dancers enjoying the music of DJ Bing Villafuerte, as you can see in the 5 photos below.

THURSDAY JANUARY 31, 2019, CHINESE NEW YEAR DANCE PARTY at Eastlake:

LINE DANCING  was non-stop from 6pm - 7pm, and then off & on until 10. In the photo above, folks were dancing to the line dance, "Si Tu Me Das". 

POSE BEFORE FOOD TIME. Dancers posed for a photo before eating.  Here's a "Thank You", and some credits for very delicious food. Nick & Eden brought chili dogs, rice, papaya, and fruit salad. Beth brought turon (dessert).  Nedy brought rice with corned beef. Jovy brought mini biscuits. Rosie brought pancit. Aida brought fried rice. Geraldine brought bilobilo (dessert). Nene brought chicken nuggets. Karina brought mini sliders.  Sheila brought fruit.  Veronica brought lumpia, pancit and baby back ribs.  And, there was more. 

BALLROOM DANCING.  We guys preferred ballroom dances. Above, Nene and Jake (who were among the Best Attired) were dancing to the cumbia "Baila Esta Cumbia".

Thursday, February 28, 2019:  MARDI GRAS DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913.  Prizes for best attire. DJ Bing Villafuerte.


  It's a fun dance party most every Thursday night with line dances and ballroom dances like swing including cha cha, night club 2-step, rumba and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night dancing in San Diego.  While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
