HALLOWEEN NIGHT DANCE PARTY in EASTLAKE This Thursday October 26, 2017

Hello Dancers,

You are invited to the HALLOWEEN NIGHT DANCE PARTY this Thursday night October 26th at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista.  There'll be prizes for best costume attire, lots of dancing, fun, food and beverages.  It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share.  The fabulous DJ Bing Villafuerte again will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm.

DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

Last Thursday (October 19th) at Eastlake, almost 20 dancers enjoyed dancing as you can see in the following 4 photos.  (Note: If the following photos do not appear when you look at this email, click the words at the top of this email that say something like "Show images which are still blocked to protect your privacy" - I already know who you are.  If that doesn't work, you can either click on the places where the photos should be, or go to this website to see the whole email.)

LINE DANCING was non-stop from 6 to 7pm, and off & on the rest of the night.  Above, dancing to "My Carol (Oh Carol)", a relatively new line dance for Eastlake Thursday nights, it was Sheila and Neriza in the front line.

FOOD LINE.  Waiting to eat one of the most delicious spreads of food we've had at Eastlake, Nina was getting ready to give a blessing for the food. Here's a "Thank You", and some credits.  Nick & Eden brought baked boneless milk fish with stuffing and with picked white radish, plus Shanghai fried rice, and chicken sate barbecue. Mel (not the DJ, but the other Mel) brought chicken adobo. Nedy brought pandit. Bert Alota & Suzanne brought fruit.  Rudy brought grapes.  Elma brought chips. And, there was more.

BALLROOM DANCING.  We guys preferred the ballroom dances.  Above, Nedy and Mel (not the DJ, but the other Mel) were dancing to the boogie "Johnnie B Goode"

NIGHT CLUB 2-STEP.  Eva and Dwayne danced to "This I Promise You".

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night dancing in San Diego.  While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
