Join a DANCE PARTY this Thursday night July 27th at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista. There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food and beverages. It's a "private party" and this is your invitation. Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. The great DJ Mel Zaragoza will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm.
DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive. Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive. The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.
Last Thursday (July 20th) was SAFARI & ANIMAL PRINTS NIGHT at Eastlake, with 35 happy dancers enjoying DJ Bing's great music, as you can see in the 7 photos below. THURSDAY JULY 20, 2017, SAFARI & ANIMAL PRINTS NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Eastlake:
FOOD LINE. Above, Nina gave a blessing for the food. Here's a "Thank You", and some credits. Nick & Eden brought beef sarciado and rice. Beth brought arroz caldo. Ralph brought chicken. Carmen brought palitaw. Mel (not the DJ, but the other Mel) brought pancit canton. Carina brought banana bread. Several people brought fruit platters, including Rei & Belen, Gino & Edith, and Royce & Maria. And, there was more.
LINE DANCING was non-stop from 6 to 7pm, and off & on the rest of the night. Above, dancing to "Rocking Robin" line dance, it was Edith, Medy and Nina more-or-less in the front line.
BALLROOM DANCING. We guys preferred the ballroom dances. Above, Geraldine was with Romi. Romi's shirt was Smokey The Bear.
TANGO. Above, Neriza and Lito were enjoying dancing to "Tango".
WINNERS of the SAFARI & ANIMAL PRINTS NIGHT best attire prizes lined up to get their prizes from judges Edith and Nina.
BEST NECKLACE, if I heard the judges correctly, was awarded to Eden, who was wearing the necklace in the photo above, which features elephants.

It's a fun dance party most every Thursday night with line dances and ballroom dances like swing including Manila Swing (also known as 4-count hustle or Philippine swing or Filipino swing), cha cha, night club 2-step, rumba and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties. This is Thursday night dancing in San Diego. While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance. Hmmm - I bet the simultaneous informal instructions while others are dancing make these, for example, the best Thursday night bachata dance lessons in San Diego.
