Join a DANCE PARTY this Thursday night July 6th at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista. There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food and beverages. It's a "private party" and this is your invitation. Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. The marvelous DJ Bing Villafuerte will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm.
DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive. Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive. The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.
Last Thursday (June 29th) was RED, WHITE & BLUE NIGHT at Eastlake, with 30 happy dancers enjoying DJ Mel's great music, as you can see in the 8 photos below. THURSDAY JUNE 29, 2017, RED, WHITE & BLUE NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Eastlake:
FOOD LINE. Above, Nina gave a blessing for the food. Here's a "Thank You", and some credits. Rei and Belen brought pancit. Nick & Eden brought champorado and lumpia. Cindy & Chito brought leche flan. Elma brought chicken & watermelon. Beth brought cooked bananas. Mel (not the DJ, but the other Mel) brought pancit canton. Nene brought pan de sal & cheese. Ruben brought sweet rolls. And, there was more.
THE SINGER & DANCER. Giovanni brought some of his recordings. Above, he danced with Mona to a merengue he recorded called "Cómo Dios Te Ama".
RCS SINGERS. Above, special guests, the Ryan Cayabyab Singers came to Eastlake on a night off they had during their American Tour. Above, they were singing acapella (i.e., with no instrumental background) a beautiful medley of popular songs written by Burt Bacharach. After their concert, this Sunday afternoon at 4pm at Sycuan Casino east of El Cajon, they go to Las Vegas before going back to the Philippines.
LINE DANCING was non-stop from 6 to 7pm, and off & on the rest of the night. Above, dancing to "Electric Slide" line dance, it was Mona, Vanessa and Geraldine more-or-less in the front line.
SELFIES - Hundreds were taken. Above, Nedy was taking a selfie with Susie and DJ Mel while they danced to "Family Affair".
BALLROOM DANCING. We guys preferred the ballroom dances. Above, I got to dance with Gigi to the swing "What A Feeling".
GRAND PRIZE WINNERS, Nick and Eden, were dancing in the photo above to the cumbia "Te Quiero Mucho".

It's a fun dance party most every Thursday night with line dances and ballroom dances like swing including Manila Swing (also known as 4-count hustle or Philippine swing or Filipino swing), cha cha, night club 2-step, rumba and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties. This is Thursday night dancing in San Diego. While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance. Hmmm - I bet the simultaneous instructions while others are dancing make these, for example, the best Thursday night cha cha cha dance lessons in San Diego.
