Eastlake Dance This Thursday August 4, 2016

Hi Again Dancers,  
  We'll have a fun Dance Party this Thursday night, August 4, 2016, again in the Eastlake Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista.  There'll be snacks and beverages.  A $5 donation will be requested.  It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share.  The incredible DJ Bing Villafuerte will play line dances 6pm-7pm, followed by mixed ballroom and line dancing until 10pm.  DIRECTIONS:  Take the H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into parking lot - the Clubhouse is behind the the gated fence. 

Last Thursday, July 28, 2016, was a great dance with DJ Mel Zaragoza playing at Eastlake.  Thanks to first and second-timers, there were 25 dancers at the party. THURSDAY JULY 28, 2016, DANCE at Eastlake I Clubhouse:

FOOD was abundant.  Above, waiting for food, it was a line of lovely ladies. You probably know their names, except maybe for first-timer Licenia, wearing black near the end of the line.  Nick & Eden brought deviled eggs and chicken soup.  Beth brought corn.  Liza, Maria and Nedy brought chicken.  Ginnie brought rice.  Royce & Maria and Bernie & Lydia brought brownies, and there was a lot more.

TANGO TIME.  Bernie and Lydia danced to "Blue Tango".

DJ MEL DANCED, in this photo with Ginnie, to "Blue Tango" also.

EDEN & NICK were also dancing to "Blue Tango", in the photo above.

SECOND-TIMERS on their second time to Thursday night dancing, Tassja (Edith's granddaughter) and Liza were talking in the photo above. 

RONNIE & BOBET enjoyed their first time to Thursday night dancing at Eastlake in the photo above.

LINE DANCING.  There were plenty of line dances, including non-stop from 6 to 7pm.  Above, Edith and Nina were in the front line dancing to "Carinito".

Saturday, August 27, 2016:  Dance to Benefit San Roque Parish Church, Cavite City, Philippines.  6pm-midnight, at Cora Anderson Dance Studio, 8990 Miramar Road, Suite 250, San Diego 92126. $25. DJ Mario. Contact: Nina at 619-342-6774  


  It's a fun dance party most every Thursday night with line dances and ballroom dances like swing including Manila Swing (also known as 4-count hustle or Philippine swing or Filipino swing), cha cha, night club 2-step, rumba and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night dancing in San Diego.  While the dancing is continuous, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.  Hmmm - I bet the simultaneous instructions while others are dancing make these, for example, the best Thursday night line dancing in San Diego.
