Hi Again Dancers,
Let's enjoy dancing again this Thursday night June 23, 2016, at Eastlake I's Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista. There'll be complementary snacks and beverages. From 6pm-10pm the incredible DJ Bing will play swing, cha cha, rumba, and much more - and of course - LINE DANCING - which is non-stop from 6-7pm. A $5 donation will be requested. It'll be a FUN "private party" and this is your invitation. Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. DIRECTIONS: Drive east on H Street to Eastlake Drive. Go right one block, then right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the club parking lot - the Beach Club is behind a gated fence.
Last Thursday June 16, 2016, was CARIBBEAN & HAT NIGHT with DJ Mel Zaragoza playing to over 35 happy dancers at Eastlake. The following seven photos below tell part of the story. (Note: If the following 7 photos do not appear when you look at this email, click the words at the top of this email that say something like "Show images which are still blocked to protect your privacy" - I already know who you are. If that doesn't work, you can either click on the places where the photos should be, or go to this website to see the whole email).
THURSDAY NIGHT AT EASTLAKE (JUNE 16, 2016):
FOOD. Above, lovely but hungry ladies tried to get food. Myrna, Edith, Estella, Nora and Nedy were "siksikan" (squeezed) in a short line. Nick & Eden brought delicious champorado and banana bread; Beth brought sandwiches and corn; and there was much more.
DJ MEL Zaragoza got the DJ duty (after last week's announcement). Above, he wore his prize-winning Caribbean Hat while announcing.
LINE DANCING was popular, as always, especially non-stop from 6pm-7pm. Above, dancing to "Runaway", Edith and DJ Bing were in the front line.
BALLROOM. We guys preferred the ballroom dances. Above, RIMA and Nickie were dancing to a rumba.
BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION! Above, Rima prepared to blow out candles on her birthday cake, while dancers sang "Happy Birthday" to her.
THE WINNERS! Above, the Hat Contest winners with their prizes were Dolores, Nora, Beth, Perla, Susie & DJ Mel, and Marilyn & Romy.
THE PIRATE QUEEN ! Well, EVA missed the main contest, but as all queens do, she made a regal appearance, this time as a Caribbean Pirate Queen, and she took home a prize.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties. This is Thursday night dancing in San Diego. While the dancing is continuous, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance. Hmmm - I bet the simultaneous instructions while others are dancing make these, for example, the best free line dance lessons in San Diego.
(2) You can click on Links to many YouTube MUSIC VIDEOS and other websites that are mentioned in this email (the links are colored like this of "Runaway"). You can get more info at websites like: this email group's Home Page and Upcoming Events.
(3) If you do NOT want these weekly emails anymore, you can "unsubscribe" by e-mailing or calling me (619-224-3095).
