Happy New Year 2015!! Dance on Thursday Jan. 8, 2015

Happy New Year Dancers!!
   2015 - Thursday night dancing at Point Point Joint begins again in 11 days - on Thursday January 8, 2015, 6pm-10pm.  I hope you can make it.

   This coming Wednesday, December 31, 2014, you can enjoy a gala New Year’s Eve Dinner/Dance at the Four Points by the Sheraton Palm Ballroom, 8110 Aero Drive, San Diego 92123, sponsored by RMX.  Time:  6:00 p.m. – 1:00 a.m.  Cost: $60/person.  Contact:  Esta at 858-761-6774.

  Nina's Tuesday Night Line Dancers had a nice Christmas Dance Party on Tuesday Dec. 23, 2014, from 6pm until 9pm at Point Point Joint, 916 E. 8th Street, National City. The four photos below show part of the story. TUESDAY NIGHT LINE DANCERS AT POINT POINT JOINT (DECEMBER 23, 2014):

Nina's Dancers had a big pot luck Christmas Dinner.  "Thank you" to Beth for providing the table and chair clothes.

A while later, several of the dancers participated in a gift exchange.

Once the dancing got underway, DJ Bing played the music.  Above the dancers were dancing to the long-time favorite, "Asi Asi".

In the holiday spirit, the Tuesday night dancers danced to "Feliz Navidad".

P.S. Other Notes: (1) When we resume Thursdays on Jan. 8, 2015, this is the best Filipino-American dancing in San Diego.  This is dancing in San Diego on Thursday nights - they are private parties, and this is your invitation to members of the email group to enjoy dancing in Point Point Joint Restaurant, a mere four miles from downtown San Diego.  While the dancing is continuous, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.  Hmmm - I bet the simultaneous instruction while others dance makes this, for example, the best cumbia dancing lessons in San Diego.
