Fun Dance Party at Point Point This Thursday, Dec. 11, 2014

Hi Dance & Party People,
   We'll have another fabulous Thursday night at Point Point Joint this week, Dec. 11, 2014.  This is YOUR INVITATION to be there.  The incredible DJ Leo will play swing, cha cha, cumbia, tango, and many more - and of course - LINE DANCING!  Point Point will offer us dancers their delicious $10 dinner special which includes a soft drink.  (More details below.).   So come on over - Party time:  from 6pm until 10pm at Point Point Joint, 916 E. 8th Street, National City.
  

  Last Thursday December 4, 2014, the fabulous DJ Mel was back from the PI treating almost 40 dancers to a great night of fun & dancing (after our 1-week Thanksgiving break).   The seven photos below show part of the story.          (Note: If the following photos do not appear when you look at this email, click the words at the top of this email that say something like "Show images which are still blocked to protect your privacy" - I already know who you are):

THURSDAY NIGHT AT POINT POINT JOINT (DECEMBER 4, 2014):

Once again there were tons of line dances, including non-stop from 6pm to 7pm.  Above it's "Caballero" with Florita, Gloria and Edith in front.  Some others were played twice:  "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree", "Carinito", and "Cowboy Cumbia".

However, us guys preferred the ballroom.  Above DJ Mel danced "Blue Tango" with Beth.

DJ Dwayne was dancing with Eva.

Esta and some of the RMX dancers joined the festivities at Point Point on Thursday night.  Above, Esta was dancing with Romy.  The RMX dancers are hosting a gala New Year's Eve dinner-dance at the Four Points-Sheraton on Aero Drive.  $60 will give you the most fun you'll find on New Years Eve.  Call Esta at 858-761-6774 for tickets.

Two other RMX All-Stars, Lulu and Jean, were dancing to "Mamita Mia" merengue.

Heidi and Ruben were also looking mightily fine dancing to "Mamita Mia".

At the end of the night, the music was over - - - What's this?!!?  Are we in SAN DIEGO or what?


  It's a fun dance party most every Thursday night at Point Point Joint with line dances and ballroom dances like swing including Manila Swing (also known as 4-count hustle or Philippine swing or Filipino swing), cha cha, night club 2-step, tango and much much more.  For this week's dance party on Thursday (December 11, 2014), Point Point Joint Restaurant, 916 E. 8th Street, National City, as usual will offer their special price of $10 for 2-entree dinner plus drink for Thursday Night dancers.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are the best ballroom dances (and best line dances) in San Diego.  This is dancing in San Diego on Thursday nights - they are private parties, and this is your invitation to members of the email group to enjoy dancing in Point Point Joint Restaurant, a mere four miles from downtown San Diego.  While the dancing is continuous, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.  Hmmm - I bet the simultaneous instruction while others dance makes this, for example, the best swing dancing lessons in San Diego.
