Dance Party at Point Point This Thursday (November 21st, 2013)

Hello Dancers,

   This Thursday November 21st will be a great Dance Party from 6 to 10PM at Point Point Joint Restaurant (details below).    
   The dance party last Thursday (November 14th) at Point Point has fewer people than usual - 15 dancers.  Besides dancing, we all got to talk to each other about things like last week's Typhoon Haiyan (aka Typhoon Yolanda), and what our jobs are.

On Tuesday November 12th, Nina's line dancers numbered ten at Point Point - nine are in this photo. 

On Thursday Nov 14th, with so few guys, line dances were popular, especially "Blurred Lines" again. 

The people who were there on the 14th seemed to be dancing a lot.  Here we see newcomer Noel dancing with Cecile.

A while later Mark danced with Cecile.  With the seniors mostly at other events, Mark and I turned out to be the only retirees in Point Point that night.      


It's a fun dance party most every Thursday night at Point Point with line dances and ballroom swing, cha cha, night club 2-step, tango and much much more.  This coming Thursday Point Point Joint Restaurant, 916 E. 8th Street, National City, as usual offers their special price of $10 for 2-entree dinner plus drink for Thursday Night dancers.

Thursday November 28th - No dance, it's THANKSGIVING
Thursday December 5th  6-10pm, DJ Mel
Thursday December 12th 6-10pm, DJ Leo
Thursday December 19th 6-10pm, DJ Mel.  1st of 3 Holiday Dance Parties with complimentary snacks and probably prizes.
Thursday December 26th 6-10pm, DJ Leo.  2nd of 3 Holiday Dance Parties with complimentary snacks and probably prizes.
Thursday January  2nd  6-10pm, DJ Mel.  3rd of 3 Holiday Dance Parties with complimentary snacks and probably prizes.

Other Notes: (1) The Thursday night dance parties are private parties, and this is the invitation to members of the email group to enjoy dancing in Point Point Restaurant, a mere four miles from downtown San Diego.  There are dancers who are happy to give free dance lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
