This Thursday (September 19th) will be another great Dance Party from 6 to 10PM at Point Point Joint Restaurant (details below).
Last Thursday (September 12th) over 30 dancers showed up at Point Point to enjoy another warm summer dance with music by DJ Mel. There were a few people new to me, plus Edith's daughter Valerie visiting from Sacramento joined the dancing.
Photo Highlights from September 12th: (Note: If the following photos do not appear when you look at this email, click the words at the top of this email that say something like "Show images which are still blocked to protect your privacy" - I already know who you are):
Evelyn showed up and here she is dancing a merengue with DJ Leo.
Here we see Suzanne and Bert A dancing to a bachata.
I spotted DJ Mel dancing to "Blue Tango" with Susie.
Towards the end of the dance, I heard a nice disco hustle and Bert A danced it with Edith's daughter Valerie.
It's a fun dance party most every Thursday night at Point Point with line dances and ballroom swing, cha cha, night club 2-step, tango and much much more. Once again this coming Thursday Point Point Joint Restaurant, 916 E. 8th Street, National City, offers their special price of $10 for 2-entree dinner plus drink for Thursday Night dancers.
Here's the plan for the next couple weeks:
Thursday September 19th 6-10pm, DJ Leo
Thursday September 26th 6-10pm, DJ Mel
See you on the dance floor,
Bert & Edith

P.S. Other Notes: (1) The Thursday night dance parties are private parties, and this is the invitation to members of the email group to enjoy dancing in Point Point Joint Restaurant, a mere four miles from downtown San Diego. Every Thursday there are dancers who are happy to give free dance lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
