Dance Party at Point Point This Thursday (September 26th)

Hello Dancers,

This Thursday (September 26th) will be another great Dance Party from 6 to 10PM at Point Point Joint Restaurant (details below).
Last Thursday (September 19th) just over 30 dancers showed up at Point Point to enjoy another summer dance - a bit cooler than the recent previous weeks - with music by DJ Leo.  We were happy to see some dancers who rarely show up at Point Point, like Rose and Rosie and Nena, although most of them were camera-shy.

Photo Highlights from September 19th:     (Note: If the following photos do not appear when you look at this email, click the words at the top of this email that say something like "Show images which are still blocked to protect your privacy" - I already know who you are):

Rose and Penny had some fun shaking to "Wake Me Up Before You Go Go".

Here we see Sally and Hector enjoying a merengue.

There were some fun line dances that we hadn't heard in a while - here the dancers enjoyed "Rumba Samba Mambo"

Towards the end of the night, DJ Leo was still smiling.

It's a fun dance party most every Thursday night at Point Point with line dances and ballroom swing, cha cha, night club 2-step, tango and much much more.  Once again this coming Thursday Point Point Joint Restaurant, 916 E. 8th Street, National City, offers their special price of $10 for 2-entree dinner plus drink for Thursday Night dancers.

Here's the plan for the next few weeks:

Thursday  September 26th 6-10pm, DJ Mel
Thursday  October 3rd 6-10pm, DJ Leo
Thursday  October 10th 6-10pm, DJ Mel
Thursday  October 17th 6-10pm, DJ Leo
Thursday  October 24th 6-10pm, DJ Mel
Thursday  October 31st 6-10pm, Halloween Costume Dance Party with DJ Leo

See you on the dance floor,

P.S. Other Notes: (1) The Thursday night dance parties are private parties, and this is the invitation to members of the email group to enjoy dancing in Point Point Joint Restaurant, a mere four miles from downtown San Diego.  Every Thursday there are dancers who are happy to give free dance lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
