Dance Party at Point Point This Thursday (August 22nd)

Hello Dancers,

This coming Thursday (August 22nd) will be another great Dance Party from 6 to 10PM at Point Point Joint Restaurant (details below).
Last Thursday's dance (August 15th) at Point Point had over 30 dancers as we welcomed Leo and Penny back, after their long visit to the Philippines.  The free line dance lessons once again included the "Jo N' Jo Tango Line Dance".  DJ Mel had the joint joyously jumping and jiving.  Philippine history showed that Filipino women love shoes, so it was no surprise when the ladies tried on 100's of shoes that Baby had brought to Point Point.

Photo Highlights from August 15th:     (Note: If the following photos do not appear when you look at this email, click the words at the top of this email that say something like "images have been blocked to protect your privacy" - I already know who you are):

Around 7:30pm Baby set up a shoe shop in Point Point and the ladies tried on every shoe.

Nilda here obviously found the perfect shoe.

Left to right: Lydia, Esther and Edith dance to the line dance "Cha Cha Espana"

Nedy & Leo in front here on the first of two waltz line dances, this one to "Last Waltz".

At closing time, Mona and Bert Alota enjoyed a night club two-step to "Yo Te Amo".

It's a fun dance party most every Thursday night at Point Point with line dances and ballroom swing, cha cha, night club 2-step, tango and much much more.  Once again this coming Thursday Point Point Joint Restaurant, 916 E. 8th Street, National City, offers their special price of $10 for 2-entree dinner plus drink for Thursday Night dancers.

Here's the plan for the next couple weeks:

Thursday  August 22nd 6-10pm, DJ Leo
Thursday  August 29th 6-10pm, DJ Mel

See you on the dance floor,
Bert & Edith

P.S. Other Notes: (1) The Thursday night dance parties are private parties, and this is your invitation to enjoy dancing in Point Point Joint Restaurant, a mere four miles from downtown San Diego.  Every Thursday there are dancers who are happy to give free dance lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
(2) You can click on various Hyperlinks (colored like this one featuring "Jo N' Jo Tango Line Dance" or this one for "Cha Cha Espana") and others earlier in this email to see things like: Upcoming Dances.
