1920's FLAPPERS DANCE PARTY at Eastlake Thursday May 30, 2024

Hello Dancers, 

  You are invited to a 1920's FLAPPERS DANCE PARTY this coming Thursday May 30, 2024, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista, with the adorable DJ Bing Villafuerte. There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food, and beverages. It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. 1920's Flappers-attired winners vie for prizes.  DJ Bing will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm.  A mild and dry night is currently forecast, again.

  DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

A DANCE PARTY was at Eastlake this past Thursday, May 23rd, with DJ Nickie Bascos, on a mild and dry night.  There were just over 40 in attendance, thanks in part to 4 first-timers.  Here are 6 photos from last Thursday's Dance Party.  Most were copied from earlier Facebook posts:

 

 BY EASTLAKE, early in the evening, dancers posed.  Loydaa (a 1st-timer), Edith, Grace (a 1st-timer), Nora, Valerie, Connie and Alice posed lakeside for the photo above.

 

 

 

 BEFORE EATING, dancers posed for the group photo above. Nedy gave a blessing for the food, and thankfulness for bringing us all together.

 

 

  BALLROOM DANCING was in abundance.  In the selfie above, dancers were dancing what looks like a swing dance.

 

 

 SELFIES were taken all night.  In Nedy's selfie above, Ver and Ditas were dancing what looks like a night club 2-step dance.

 

 

 

 UPCOMING EVENTS. In the photo above, "THE RING GIRLS" were holding the signs with the schedule for upcoming Eastlake dances. We see first-timers Loydaa and Grace, Edith, Gemma and Remy.

Thursday, June 20, 2024:  JUNE BIRTHDAYS PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913.  Roses for birthday ladies. Balloons. DJ Nickie Bascos


  It's a fun dance party most Thursday nights with line dances and ballroom dances like swing, cha cha, night club 2-step, cumbia, rumba and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night ballroom and line dancing in San Diego. This is the best Thursday night dance in San Diego, with many types of dance. While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
