DANCE PARTY at Eastlake Thursday May 23, 2024

Hello Dancers,  

  You are invited to a DANCE PARTY this coming Thursday May 23, 2024, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista, with the fabulous DJ Nickie Bascos. There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food, and beverages. It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. DJ Nickie will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm.  A mild and dry night is currently forecast, again.

  DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

A MAY BIRTHDAYS DANCE PARTY was at Eastlake this past Thursday, May 16th, with DJ Bing Villafuerte, on a mild and dry night.  There were 40 in attendance.  Here are 7 photos from last Thursday's Dance Party.  Most were copied from earlier Facebook posts:

  

  BY EASTLAKE, early in the evening, dancers posed.  Edith, Alice, Valerie, Melba, Nora and Janet posed lakeside for the photo above.

 

 

  LINE DANCING was non-stop from 6pm to 7pm, and after the blessing for about 20 minutes, until ballroom and line dancing alternated until the end of the party.  In Nedy's selfie above,  Myrna and Annie were in front.

 

 

  BEFORE EATING, dancers posed for the group photo above. Nedy gave a blessing for the food, and thankfulness for bringing us all together.

 

 

  BALLROOM DANCING was in abundance.  In the selfie above, Amor and Chito were dancing what looks like a night club 2-step dance. 

 

 

  UPCOMING EVENTS. In the photo above, "THE RING GIRLS" were holding the signs with the schedule for upcoming Eastlake dances. We see birthday girls Charito, Aida, Mary Jane and Alice.

 

 

  THE BIRTHDAY CAKE, in the photo above, was another delicious creation by Myra (Veronica).  It was a layered chocolate cake with mousse filling and very colorful decorations.

Thursday, June 6, 2024:  NO DANCE.  Another Eastlake group reserved the clubhouse for that date.


Thursday, June 13, 2024: FILIPINO NIGHT DANCE PARTY at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. Filipino-attired winners vie for prizes. DJ Bing Villafuerte


  It's a fun dance party most Thursday nights with line dances and ballroom dances like swing, cha cha, night club 2-step, cumbia, rumba and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night ballroom and line dancing in San Diego. This is the best Thursday night dance in San Diego, with many types of dance. While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
