JANUARY BIRTHDAYS DANCE PARTY at Eastlake Thursday January 12, 2023

Hello Dancers, 

   You are invited to a JANUARY BIRTHDAYS DANCE PARTY this Thursday January 12, 2023, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista. There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food, and beverages, roses for birthday ladies and balloons. It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share.  The incredible DJ Nickie Bascos will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm.  Clear and warmer weather is forecast.

  MASKS required?  Well, the homeowners association still has a "masks recommended" sign on the door.  In order to have a healthy dance, please do not come in if you have a fever, a bad cough, or other serious cold or flu symptoms.  Anyone can wear a mask who chooses. Everyone should bring a mask, just in case the requirements change at the last minute.

DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

A COWBOY & WESTERN NIGHT DANCE PARTY was at Eastlake last Thursday, January 5th, with DJ Abby Castillo DJ'ing at Eastlake for the first time, on a cool and drizzly night.  There were 33 dancers, thanks in part to 3 first-timers.  Here are four photos, two were copied from the Facebooks:

 

 

 BEFORE EATING, dancers posed for the photo above. Nedy gave a blessing for the food, and thankfulness for bringing us all together.

 

 

 

 LINE DANCING was non-stop from 6 to 7pm, and off and on until 10PM.  In Nedy's selfie above, with Nora dancing closest, people were line dancing to what may have been "Carinito" ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IwIkS7sMEeg ).

 

 

 

WINNING COUPLES in Western attire lined up for photos. Nora kindly handed out prizes. The 2 winning couples were Faye & John and Michael & Lolit.

  It's a fun dance party most Thursday nights with line dances and ballroom dances like swing, cha cha, night club 2-step, cumbia, rumba and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night ballroom and line dancing in San Diego. This is the best Thursday night cumbia dance in San Diego, with many other types of dance. While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
