COWBOY & WESTERN DANCE PARTY at Eastlake Thursday January 5, 2023

Hello Dancers, 

   HAPPY NEW YEAR.!!!  You are invited to a COWBOY & WESTERN NIGHT DANCE PARTY this Thursday January 5, 2023, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista. There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food, and beverages, and prizes for selected best attire winners.  PLUS, the 2 weeks after that will be special with:  the JANUARY BIRTHDAYS PARTY, and a CHINESE NEW YEAR PARTY. It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share.  DJ Abby Castillo will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm.

  MASKS required?  Well, the homeowners association still has a "masks recommended" sign on the door.  In order to have a healthy dance, please do not come in if you have a fever, a bad cough, or other serious cold or flu symptoms.  Anyone can wear a mask who chooses. Everyone should bring a mask, just in case the requirements change at the last minute.

DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

A NEW YEAR MASQUERADE DANCE PARTY was at Eastlake last Thursday, December 29th, with DJ Bing Villafuerte and 50 dancers.  Here are some photos, some from Nedy's Facebook:

 SPECIAL PERFORMANCE.  "Londonbeat" direct from London with his dancers such at Eline honored us with 2 songs, "I've Been Thinking About You" ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eBTBnylycD0 ) and "Tragedy" ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OiwDHHcHPh0 ).

 

 

 

 LINE DANCING was non-stop from 6 to 7pm, and off and on until 10PM.  In the photo above, people were line dancing to "A Namorada" ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fBmCYUcUDAM ). Beth, Estrelle and Emma were more or less closest to the camera.

  It's a fun dance party most Thursday nights with line dances and ballroom dances like swing, cha cha, night club 2-step, cumbia, rumba and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night ballroom and line dancing in San Diego. This is the best Thursday night cha cha dance in San Diego, with many other types of dance. While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
