NO DANCE at Eastlake This Thursday April 18, 2019

Hello Dancers,   

 There is NO DANCE PARTY this Thursday April 18, 2019, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista, out of respect for Holy Thursday. Come back on Thursday April 25th for lots of dancing, fun, food and beverages.  


Last Thursday (April 11h) was the APRIL BIRTHDAYS DANCE PARTY at Eastlake.  There were over 30 dancers enjoying the music of DJ Bing Villafuerte, as you can see in the 4 photos below.

THURSDAY APRIL 11, 2019, APRIL BIRTHDAYS DANCE PARTY at Eastlake:

BY THE LAKE. Early dancers posed by Eastlake. In the photo above, it was Edith, Eden, Nedy, Nene, Beth, Estrelle, and Stella who is one of Edith's  daughters, visiting from the Philippines.  

POSE BEFORE FOOD TIME. Dancers posed for the photo above before eating. Here's a "Thank You", and some credits for lots of very delicious food. Beth brought fried peanuts. Nick & Eden brought beef & broccoli, garlic chicken, orange chicken, egg rolls, chicken chop suey, fried rice, banana bread, and pudding cakes. Estrelle brought Gelatin Buko Pandan. Nedy brought cream of broccoli casserole. Geraldine brought spaghetti. Karina & Carlos brought chicken masala and cassava pudding. Sheila brought ube cake.  Carmen brought macaroni soup. Jovie brought pasta.  Gilda brought chicken wings. Veronica brought Strawberry Peach Sensation cake. Violi brought a mango cake.  Bert Alota brought watermelon. And, there was more.

CARINITO.  Carlos and Belen danced cumbia or bachata to "Carinito", while ladies across the room danced the line dance steps.  Line-dancing was non-stop from 6pm - 7pm, then off & on until closing time.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY.  The folks with April birthdays posed for the photo above while singing "Happy Birthday". They were DJ Bing, Evelyn, Violi, Nick, Cecilia, Karina and Fred. Thursday, April 25, 2019.  DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. DJ Nickie Bascos. 


Thursday, May 2, 2019:  MEXICAN NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. Prizes for best attire.  DJ Bing Villafuerte. 


Thursday, May 9, 2019:  MAY BIRTHDAYS DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. Cake. Balloons. Roses for birthday ladies. DJ Mel Zaragoza.


  It's a fun dance party most every Thursday night with line dances and ballroom dances like swing including cha cha, night club 2-step, rumba and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night dancing in San Diego.  While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
