SHORTS & BEACH PARTY NIGHT DANCE at Eastlake This Thursday August 16, 2018

Hello Dancers,   

 You are invited to a SHORTS & BEACH PARTY NIGHT DANCE this Thursday August 16, 2018, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista. There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food, beverages, and prizes for best Shorts & Beach Party Night Dance attire.   It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. The great DJ Mel Zaragoza will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm. 

DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

Last week (August 9th) was a great AUGUST BIRTHDAYS PARTY NIGHT DANCE at Eastlake, with about 30 dancers enjoying the music of DJ Bing Villafuerte, as you can see in the 7 photos below.

THURSDAY AUGUST 9, 2018, BIRTHDAY DANCE PARTY at Eastlake:

FOOD TIME. Dancers posed for a photo before eating.  Here's a "Thank You", and some credits for a lot of very delicious food. Nick & Eden brought upo and shrimp tempura. Karina and Sheila and Josie brought mocha mix or parts of it. Beth brought cantaloupe and cooked peanuts. Josie and Romy brought adobo, pancit, fried rice, cantaloupe and German Chocolate cake. Mel Paiste brought sotanghon. Rei brought salad, suman and puto. Nedy brought jicama.  Estrelle brought pot stickers. Elma brought chicken alfredo. Cindy & Chito brought apple fritters dessert. Bert Alota brought watermelon. And, there was more.

ROMY SERENADES, sort of.  While Nedy and DJ Bing danced swing, Romy serenaded to himself with the song "Why". 

THE MIXER.  With guys and ladies lining up on opposite sides of the floor, couples more or less randomly paired up to dance, moving and dancing down the lines.  Above, I was fortunate to dance with Delfina, and Neriza with Ralph.

Thursday, September 6, 2018:  DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. DJ Bing Villafuerte. 



  It's a fun dance party most every Thursday night with line dances and ballroom dances like swing, cha cha, night club 2-step, rumba and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night dancing in San Diego.  While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
