AUGUST BIRTHDAYS PARTY DANCE at Eastlake This Thursday August 9, 2018

Hello Dancers,   

 You are invited to the AUGUST BIRTHDAYS PARTY DANCE this Thursday August 9, 2018, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista. There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food, beverages, and there will be roses and balloons for August birthday celebrants. It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. The wonderful DJ Bing Villafuerte will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm. 

DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

Last Thursday (August 2nd) was a great HAWAIIAN NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, with about 35 dancers enjoying the music of DJ Nickie Bascos, as you can see in the 5 photos below.

THURSDAY AUGUST 2, 2018, HAWAIIAN NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Eastlake:

LINE DANCING was non-stop from 6pm - 7pm, then off & on until closing time.  Above, some early birds were dancing to a relatively new favorite "Woman Is Smarter" line dance. It was Nedy and Edith in the front line, more or less.

POSE BEFORE FOOD TIME. Dancers posed for a photo before eating.  Here's a "Thank You", and some credits for very delicious food. Nick & Eden brought munggo with ampalaya & spinach, and tocino. Karina brought fried rice. Beth brought Manila mango. Josie brought fruits. Mel Paiste brought pancit canton. Geraldine brought macaroni salad. Sheila brought malabanos dessert. Jake brought strawberries. Belen & Rei brought fruits and Greek salad. Nina brought macaroni salad. Trining brought fried fish.  And, there was more.

THE BIG KAHUNA (Romy) performed one of the special numbers during the Hawaiian Night Dance.  Above, with Eva and the Mira Mesa BFF Dancers, Romy sang "Pearly Shells".

Thursday, August 30, 2018:  ARABIAN NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. Prizes for best attire. DJ Nickie Bascos.


  It's a fun dance party most every Thursday night with line dances and ballroom dances like swing including cha cha, night club 2-step, rumba and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night dancing in San Diego.  While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
