NO DANCE at Eastlake This Thursday June 14, 2018

Hello Dancers,   

  Sorry, but there's NO dance at Eastlake this Thursday June 14, 2018.  But, don't forget to come back the following week for Caribbean Night and Hats Contest with music by DJ Mel Zaragoza.  


Last Thursday (June 7th) was a great FILIPINO NIGHT and BIRTHDAY PARTY DANCE at Eastlake, with about 30 dancers enjoying the music of DJ Bing Villafuerte, as you can see in the 6 photos below.

THURSDAY JUNE 7, 2018, DANCE PARTY at Eastlake:

LOVELY LADIES BY THE LAKE.  Marilyn, Nedy and Nina posed by the lake early  in the evening.  You can see this and about 40 other photos from the night on Nedy's Facebook and the Thursday Dancers Facebook.

FOOD TIME. Dancers posed for a photo before eating.  Here's a "Thank You", and some credits for very delicious food. Nick & Eden brought apretada and rice. Nedy brought cookies. Beth brought cantaloupe. Ralph brought chicken. Geraldine brought arroz caldo. Jake brought leche flan. Mel Paiste brought seaweed salad. Josie brought fruits. Ruben brought chicken & salad. And, there was more.

FILIPINO NIGHT BEST ATTIRE WINNERS Neriza, Eden, Marilyn, Romy, Eva, Dwayne, Elma, Nedy, Geraldine, Romi and Beth posed above, all looking great, along with judges Nina and Edith. 

BALLROOM.  We guys preferred the ballroom dances.  (Line dancing was non-stop from 6 to 7pm, and off & on the rest of the night.)  Above, Phil and Geraldine were enjoying one, the boogie "All Shook Up".

Thursday, June 21, 2018:  CARIBBEAN NIGHT and HATS NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. Prizes for best attire. DJ Mel Zaragoza.


Thursday, June 28, 2018:  DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. DJ Bing Villafuerte. 


Thursday, July 5, 2018:  RED WHITE & BLUE NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. Prizes for best attire. DJ Nickie Bascos.


  It's a fun dance party most every Thursday night with line dances and ballroom dances like swing including cha cha, night club 2-step, rumba and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night dancing in San Diego.  While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
