NO Dance Party at Eastlake This Thursday December 15, 2016 + BIRTHDAY NIGHT Photos from Dec 8th

Hello Dancers!
NO DANCE this Thursday, but please plan on returning to dance at Eastlake Shores in eleven days on Thursday December 22nd for the CHRISTMAS DANCE PARTY, when DJ Mel Zaragoza will play the music.
DIRECTIONS for Dec 1st:  Take the H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then right into 2050 Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into parking lot - the Clubhouse is behind the the gated fence.

Last Thursday, December 8, 2016, DJ Bing Villafuerte played at Eastlake for about 35 happy dancers on the DECEMBER BIRTHDAYS DANCE PARTY NIGHT, as you can see in the following 7 photos.  (Note: If the following photos do not appear when you look at this email, click the words at the top of this email that say something like "Show images which are still blocked to protect your privacy" - I already know who you are.  If that doesn't work, you can either click on the places where the photos should be, or go to this website to see the whole email.)

DECEMBER BIRTHDAYS DANCE PARTY NIGHT, THURSDAY DECEMBER 8, 2016, at Eastlake:

DINNER TIME.  After non-stop line dancing from 6pm - 7pm, hungry dancers lined up for great food.  A big "THANK YOU" to people who brought food:  Nick & Eden brought barbecue beef sandwiches and salabat.  Rei brought lots of quiche.  Beth brought corn.  Gino & Edith R brought maruya and cookies.  Ralph brought chicken.  Rudy brought cheesecake.  Dolores brought fruit bread.  Rima & Joel brought a big birthday cake. And, there was a lot more.  (I hope I got the credits right.)

BALLROOM.  We guys preferred ballroom dancing.  Above, we see Nedy and Mel (not DJ Mel, but the other Mel) dancing to "Reloj" rumba.

NIGHT CLUB TWO-STEP.  Many dancers got up to dance to the night club two-step "Yo Te Amo", including Elsie and Ping in the photo above.

NICK & EDEN also danced to the night club two-step "Yo Te Amo".

THE DJ DANCED in the photo above with Nita, also to the night club two-step.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY.  Edith R and Jamila have birthdays in December.  In the photo above, they blew out candles on the Happy Birthday cake that the Sims Family brought, while holding their roses, and while dancers sang "Happy Birthday".

GROUP PHOTO.  After a long night of dancing, many of those remaining lined up for a group photo.

Here's the plan for the next few weeks for Thursday night dances:

Thursday, December 15, 2016:  NO DANCE.  The Eastlake Clubhouse will be used by another group on that night.

Thursday, December 22, 2016:  CHRISTMAS PARTY DANCE in Eastlake, with prizes for best holiday attire, and with Emilio Buencamino operating a Photo Booth.  6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913.  DJ Mel Zaragoza.

Thursday, December 29, 2016:   NEW YEARS DANCE PARTY In Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913.  DJ Mel Zaragoza.

Thursday, January 5, 2017:  DANCE PARTY in Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913.  DJ Mel Zaragoza.

It's a fun dance party most every Thursday night with line dances and ballroom dances like swing including Manila Swing (also known as 4-count hustle or Philippine swing or Filipino swing), cha cha, night club 2-step, rumba and much much more.

Hoping to see you on the dance floor,

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night dancing in San Diego.  While the dancing is continuous, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.  Hmmm - I bet the simultaneous instructions while others are dancing make these, for example, the best Thursday night cumbia dancing in Chula Vista.

(2)  You can click on Links to YouTube MUSIC VIDEOS and other websites that are mentioned in this email (the links are colored like this of "Yo Te Amo").  You can get more info at websites like: this email group's Home Page and Upcoming Events.

(3)  If you do NOT want these weekly emails anymore, you can "unsubscribe" by e-mailing or calling me (619-224-3095).
