Dance Party at Point Point This Thursday (July 25th)

Hello Dancers,

This coming Thursday (July 25th) will be another great Dance Party from 6 to 10PM at Point Point (details below).  Free line dance lesson from 6pm-7pm, with DJ Mel trying to teach the FLUTE line dance.
Last Thursday (July 18th) Point Point had 15 dancers with many of the regular dancers going to other events that night.  DJ Mel taught us the "Pac Man Shuffle" line dance.
Photo Highlights from July 18th:     (Note: If the following photos do not appear when you look at this email, click the words at the top of this email that say something like "images have been blocked to protect your privacy" - I already know who you are):

Here we see DJ Mel and something new - one of his music videos playing on the TV screen.

And, a while later DJ Mel was dancing a boogie with Nedy.

At the same time Bert Andrade was dancing the same song with Edith.

Towards the end of the night, we see dancers line dancing to 'Caballero'.

It's a fun dance party most every Thursday night at Point Point with line dances and ballroom swing, cha cha, night club 2-step, tango and much much more.  Once again this coming Thursday Point Point, 916 E. 8th Street, National City, offers their special price of $10 for 2-entree dinner plus drink for Thursday Night dancers.

Here's the plan for the next few weeks (well, at least until DJ Leo returns from the Philippines):

Thursday  July 25th 6-10pm, DJ Mel, including line dance lesson 6-7pm
Thursday  August 1st 6-10pm, DJ Mel
Thursday  August 8th 6-10pm, DJ Mel

(The Early Birds start partying around 5:30pm.)

See you on the dance floor,
Bert & Edith

P.S. Other Notes: (1) The Thursday night dance parties are private parties, and this is your invitation to enjoy dancing in Point Point Joint Restaurant, a mere four miles from downtown San Diego.  Every Thursday there are dancers who are happy to give free dance lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.  Come over now before the summer gets really warm.
