Thursday evening dancing at Eastlake remains cancelled until further notice due to what's left of the coronavirus, including Thursday, May 13, 2021. I hope everybody remains healthy and avoids the flu and coronavirus.
It's been over a year now since the state-wide shutdown. Some Filipino-American dance groups in the San Diego area have started dance parties again.
The coronavirus epidemic statistics published for San Diego County continue improving. Over the past 3 weeks, the County has had the lowest COVID numbers since March 2020, at the beginning of the pandemic. The rate of new intensive care admissions dropped to about 1 per day, and the rate of deaths over the past three weeks dropped to about 2 per day. The County and other organizations are now vaccinating lots of people, using Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines. Even many Walgreens drug stores have Pfizer vaccination sites in their parking lots.
I'm now only sending these emails every 3 weeks. Due to growing problems with Yahoo email, I am switching to my website's email service. I hope it works. ( bert@sandiegofilamdancing.com )
Here's the dance party plan for the next few Thursdays at Eastlake:
No dances, until further notice.
Hoping to see you again soon on the dance floor,
