Hello Dancers,
Thursday evening dancing at Eastlake remains cancelled until further notice, including next Thursday, August 6, 2020. I hope everybody remains healthy and avoids the flu and coronavirus.
The coronavirus epidemic statistics published for San Diego County continue to be not good. The "stay home" order began 135 days ago. The rate of new intensive care admissions and the rate of deaths both rose over the past two weeks to about 6 per day. The good news is that about 5 different organizations began testing their different vaccines on tens of thousands of volunteers recently, and they hope to identify successful vaccines by the end of 2020.
I will continue only sending these emails every 2 weeks, although this one is late.
Here's the dance party plan for the next few Thursdays at Eastlake:
