NO DANCE PARTY at LOLA HAPPY BISTRO Thursday October 30, 2025

Hello Dancers,  
  Well, there will be NO THURSDAY NIGHT DANCE PARTY this coming Thursday October 30th, at Lola Happy Bistro, 3421 E. Plaza Blvd., National City 91950 ( https://lolahappybistro.com/ ), because we  reduced the schedule to have dances only for special events, usually every other week.  So, come to the November Birthdays Party on November 6th, especially if you have a birthday in November. 

  DIRECTIONS:  Lola Happy Bistro, 3421 E. Plaza Blvd., National City 91950, is almost a mile east of the 805-Plaza Blvd exit, at the signal-lighted intersection of Plaza Blvd and Manchester Street. We will be in the restaurant with some regular customers.

A HALLOWEEN NIGHT DANCE PARTY was at Lola Happy Bistro on this past Thursday night, October 23, 2025, with DJ Bing Villafuerte, on a mild and dry night.  There were 50 in attendance, thanks in part to 6 first-timers, and visiting VIPs DJ Marie and her Prime Ladies.  Here are 8 photos from last Thursday's Dance Party, all were copied from Facebooks:

  

  GROUP PHOTO.  Dancers posed for the photo above early in the evening, most in Halloween costumes. 

 

 

  BALLROOM DANCING was abundant. In the photo above, Eva and Dwayne danced what appears to be a night-club 2-step dance, in their Halloween costumes.

 

 

  UPCOMING THURSDAY NIGHTS signs for Thursday nights at Lola Happy Bistro were held by "Ring Boys" for a change.  They were Roland, Dwayne, Michael and John in the photo above.

 

 

  "THE FRIENDS" PERFORMED.  In the photo above "The Friends", in Chinese attire with fans and flowing pink scarves, had just danced a Chinese fan dance choreographed by Angie.  In the line-up were Sheila, Nedy, Beth, Angie, Josie and Connie.

 

 

  LINE DANCING was a favorite.  In the photo above, Roland's Inspiring Dancers, in skeleton costumes, performed "THRILLER" line dance ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SC-vyPWsYRE ).  In the front line were Remy, Roland and Eva.  Behind them were Irish (hidden) and Lolit.

 

 

 WINNING COUPLES in Halloween Night attire posed for the photo above.  They were Dwayne & Eva, John & Fe, Ver & Ditas, Ric & Connie, Lolit & Michael, DJ Bing & Janet, Irish & Roland, and Remy & Chris.  Josie and Rei were prize donors and handed out prizes. 

 

 

 

 WINNING SINGLES (the left side of the line-up) in Halloween Night attire posed for the photo above.  In this photo we see Alice, Linda, Joe, Amor, Lou and Annie.  "The Friends" (see their photo above) were also winners, as well as Rei and Belen.

Balloons.  6pm - 9:30pm.  DJ Bing Villafuerte.

Thursday, November 20, 2025:  COWBOY & WESTERN NIGHT DANCE PARTY, especially if you have some cowboy or western attire, at Lola Happy Bistro, 3421 E. Plaza Blvd., National City 91950 ( https://lolahappybistro.com/ and https:// and  https://www.facebook.com/lolahappybistro  (619) 434-7371)).  Cowboy or western-attired dancers vie for prizes.  6pm - 9:30pm.  DJ Nickie Bascos.

 It's a fun dance party most Thursday nights with line dances and ballroom dances like swing, cha cha, night club 2-step, cumbia, rumba and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) This is where you find a great Thursday night party with dancing -- at Lola Happy Bistro in National City, with ballroom and line dances, Filipino dances, cha cha cha dancing and swing dancing on a Thursday night in San Diego.  While the dancing and music will be non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free one-on-one ballroom and line dance lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
