ST. PATRICK'S DANCE PARTY at Eastlake Thursday March 14, 2024

Hello Dancers,  

 You are invited to a ST. PATRICK's DANCE PARTY this coming Thursday March 14, 2024, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista, with the fabulous DJ Nickie Bascos. There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food, and beverages. Green-Irish-attired winners vie for prizes. It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. DJ Nickie will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm.  A cool but dry night is currently forecast. With the return of Daylight Saving Time, there's apt to be photos by the lake.

  DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

A MARCH BIRTHDAYS DANCE PARTY was at Eastlake this past Thursday, March 7th, with DJ Bing Villafuerte, on a cool and drizzly night.  There were just over 50 dancers in attendance, thanks in part to three 1st-timers. Here are 6 photos from last Thursday's Dance Party.  Most were copied from earlier Facebook posts:

 

 

 BEFORE EATING, dancers posed for the group photo above. Beth gave a blessing for the food, and thankfulness for bringing us all together.

 

 

 

 LINE DANCING was non-stop from 6 to 7pm, and off and on with ballroom dances until 10pm. In the photo above, "The Friends" group performed a special line dance to "Save The Last Dance" ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4PHqJEOj6-Y ).  In front we see Eden and Karina, with Beth, Connie and Nedy behind them.

 

 

 

 ANOTHER SPECIAL PERFORMANCE was shortly after, in the photo above.  A group of Eastlake and Tooma dancers performed to "Corrina Corrina" ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gGg-mtfUKxU ).  In front we see Irish, Eva and Myrna, with Cesar, Merly (hidden), Emma and Roland behind them.

 

 

 

 BALLROOM DANCING was in abundance. Birthday celebrant Ric danced with Connie in the photo above.  It was a slow dance.

 

 

 

 BIRTHDAY CELEBRANTS HOLDING CANDLES at their birthday party for those with birthdays in March.  In the photo above, the 6 celebrants were Charlie, Joe, Merly (a 1st-timer), Eva, Dwayne, and Ric.

Thursday, April 4, 2024: APRIL BIRTHDAYS DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista  

  It's a fun dance party most Thursday nights with line dances and ballroom dances like swing, cha cha, night club 2-step, cumbia, rumba and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night ballroom and line dancing in San Diego. This is the best Thursday night dance in San Diego, with many types of dance. While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
