ST. PATRICK'S DANCE PARTY at Eastlake Thursday March 16, 2023

Hello Dancers, 

  You are invited to a ST. PATRICK'S DANCE PARTY this Thursday March 16, 2023, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista. There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food, beverages, and prizes for best St. Patrick's attire. It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share.  The amazing DJ Nickie Bascos will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm.  Dry weather is forecast, for a fun first Thursday of Daylight Saving Time this year.

  MASKS required?  Well, the homeowners association finally removed its "masks recommended" sign on the door a few weeks ago.  In order to have a healthy dance, please do not come in if you have a fever, a bad cough, or other serious cold or flu symptoms.  Anyone can wear a mask who chooses.

DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

A MARCH BIRTHDAYS DANCE PARTY was at Eastlake last Thursday, March 9th, with DJ Nickie Bascos, on a nice-weather night.  There were 40 dancers.  Here are some photos, most are from the Facebooks, where you can see about 200 nice photos:

 

 

 LINE DANCING was non-stop from 6 to 7pm, and off and on until 10PM.  In the photo above, Eva was leading the line dancers.

 

 

 

BEFORE EATING, dancers posed for the photo above. Nedy gave a blessing for the food, and thankfulness for bringing us all together.

 

 

 

BALLROOM DANCING was frequent, too.  In the photo above, Robert and Jannette were dancing to what I remember was the night club two-step "Hopelessly Devoted To You" ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r-3NvDp28U4 ). 

 

 

 

 EVA & DWAYNE enjoyed dancing, too, in the photo above.  Maybe it was a rumba.

 

 

 

 MARCH BIRTHDAY CELEBRANTS lined up for photos behind the cake. They were Joe, Romi, Aurea, Belen, Faye, Eva and Dwayne.  DJ Nickie also has a March birthday, but he was not in this photo.

Thursday, March 23, 2023:  DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913.  DJ Bing Villafuerte.  And, it'll be the 7th anniversary of Thursday night dancing at Eastlake.



Thursday, March 30, 2023:  70's DISCO NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. Prizes for best Disco Night attire.  DJ Bing Villafuerte. 


Thursday, April 6, 2023:  NO Dance, in honor of Holy Thursday.


  It's a fun dance party most Thursday nights with line dances and ballroom dances like swing, cha cha, night club 2-step, cumbia, rumba and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night ballroom and line dancing in San Diego. This is the best Thursday night rumba dancing in San Diego, with many other types of dance. While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
