NO DANCE PARTY at Eastlake Thursday December 8, 2022

Hello Dancers,  

  Sorry.  NO DANCE at Eastlake this Thursday night, December 8th, nor again on the 15th.  Eastlake groups reserved the clubhouse.  But, it will be a big CHRISTMAS DANCE PARTY two weeks later on Thursday December 22nd, and I hope to see you then.

A DECEMBER BIRTHDAYS DANCE PARTY was at Eastlake last Thursday, December 1st, with DJ Bing Villafuerte, and 56 dancers, thanks in part to twelve 1st-timers. Here are some photos:

 

 

BEFORE EATING, dancers posed for the photo above. Nedy gave a blessing and gratitude for the food, and a prayer for everyone's good health.

 

 

 

 LINE DANCING was non-stop from 6pm to 7pm, then off and on until 10pm.  In the photo above, Lolit was in front of many dancers.

 

 

 

 BALLROOM DANCING was frequent.  In the selfie photo above, Nedy snapped Cindy and birthday celebrant Chito enjoying a west coast swing, probably, such as "Roadrunner" ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7VGf0u-xOYU ),  which was played.

 

 

 

 THE BIRTHDAY CAKE.  Once again, Myra (Veronica) baked a fabulous birthday cake for the celebrants and dancers.  Besides the elaborate decorations, the cake featured a layer of strawberries and peaches and cream.

 

 

 

 BIRTHDAY CELEBRANTS with birthdays in December were singing along to Happy Birthday in the photo above.  They were Vangie, Araceli, Nida, Chito, Estrelle and Edna.

 

 

 

NIDA BY THE TREE.  In the photo above, birthday celebrant Nida posed in front of the Christmas tree.  I assume the Eastlake association brought in the tree, lights and several poinsettia potted plants. The tree was next to the DJ's table.

Thursday, December 29, 2022:   NEW YEAR'S MASQUERADE DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. Prizes for best attire.  DJ Bing Villafuerte



  It's a fun dance party most Thursday nights with line dances and ballroom dances like swing, cha cha, night club 2-step, cumbia, rumba and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night ballroom and line dancing in San Diego. This is the best Thursday night merengue dancing in San Diego, with many other types of dance. While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
