DANCE PARTY at Eastlake This Thursday August 22, 2019

Hello Dancers,   

 You are invited to a DANCE PARTY this Thursday August 22, 2019, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista. There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food, and beverages. It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. The great DJ Mel Zaragoza will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm. 

DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

Last Thursday (August 15th) was a great HAWAIIAN NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Eastlake.  Thanks to many ladies in colorful Hawaiian attire, there were about 40 dancers enjoying the music of DJ Bing Villafuerte, as you can see in the 7 photos below.

THURSDAY August 15, 2019, HAWAIIAN NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Eastlake:

LOVELY LADIES by the LAKE.  Above, sitting outside the Clubhouse by Eastlake, it was Nedy, Pat, Nene, Rei and Nina, in a selfie from Nedy's Facebook.

POSE BEFORE FOOD TIME. Dancers posed for the photo above before eating. Here's a "Thank You", and credits for delicious food. Nick & Eden brought beef menudo, macaroni soup and rice. Estrelle brought zucchini soup. Geraldine brought pandit. Carmen brought fried rice. Nedy brought salad. Mel Paiste brought seaweed salad. Pat & Rick brought beverages.  Jovie brought waldorf salad. Rosie brought fried anchovies.  Beth brought fruits and vegetable salad. Lily brought crackers. Pat brought grapes. Rei brought salad. Faride brought melon. And, there was more.

KALANI DANCED a Tahitian or Polynesian dance.  Kalani is a granddaughter of Carmen and Fred.

THE FIRST COUPLE, Papa Nick and Eden were the first to be honored during the Hawaiian Night attire awards ceremony.

BEST ATTIRED MEN were Rick, Romy, Romi, DJ Mel, Mel Paiste, Ralph and DJ Nickie.  

BEST ATTIRED WOMEN, well this photo has most of them, were Geraldine, Rei, Nene, Beth, Myrna, Estrelle, Lily, Jovie, first-timer Mary Jane, Carmen of Nickie's Angels, Virgie, Nedy, Aurea, Myra, Aurora, Pat, Pat and Faride.  Also, Neriza, Karina, and Eva were Best Attired.

BALLROOM DANCING alternated with line dancing from 7 - 10pm.  In the photo above, I was dancing with Nedy to the merengue, "Luna Llena", I think, from Nedy's Facebook.  Also see photos and videos in the EastLake Shore Thursday Dance Group Facebook.

Thursday, September 19, 2019:  POLKA DOT NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. Prizes for best attire. DJ Mel Zaragoza.



  It's a fun dance party most Thursday nights with line dances and ballroom dances like swing including cha cha, night club 2-step, rumba and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night dancing in San Diego.  While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
