MAY BIRTHDAYS DANCE PARTY at Eastlake This Thursday May 9, 2019

Hello Dancers,   

 You are invited to a MAY BIRTHDAYS DANCE PARTY this Thursday May 9, 2019, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista. There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food, cake, beverages, and balloons and roses for birthday ladies. It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. The marvelous DJ Bing Villafuerte will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm. 

DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

Last Thursday (May 2nd) was a fabulous MEXICAN NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Eastlake.  Thanks in part to DANCESATION stars there were over 30 dancers enjoying the music of DJ Mel Zaragoza, as you can see in the 6 photos below.

THURSDAY MAY 2, 2019, MEXICAN NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Eastlake:

BY THE LAKE.  Some early birds posed by Eastlake - Nina, Nene, Bing, Nedy and Edith.

DJ/DI MEL was playing great Latin and Mexican dance songs all night.  His phone number on his banner was a little obscured in the photo above.  It is 619-494-8692.

LINE DANCING was non-stop from 6pm - 7pm. In the photo above it was Nene and Eden in the front line dancing to "La Ultima Noche". 

POSE BEFORE FOOD TIME. Dancers posed for the photo above before eating. Here's a "Thank You", and some credits for lots of very delicious food. Beth brought corn. Nick & Eden brought taco salad, chicken fajitas, and chips & salsa. Estrelle brought spaghetti. Nedy brought various vegetables. Geraldine brought picadillo. Carmen brought peanuts and mixed fruits. Cecilia & Ely brought mango cheesecake. Bert & Lennie Velasco brought spicy caldereta. Mel Pamaran brought cucumber salad and chicken. Karina brought Greek salad. Sheila brought fruit cake. Veronica brought a big "Cinco De Mayo" cake. Nene brought kutsinta with shredded cocoanut. Josie & Romy brought chocolates. And, there was more.

Thursday, May 30 and Thursday June 6, 2019. No Dances.  Sorry, the Clubhouse is reserved by another Eastlake group.



  It's a fun dance party most every Thursday night with line dances and ballroom dances like swing including cha cha, night club 2-step, rumba and much much more.

Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night dancing in San Diego.  While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
