NO DANCE at Eastlake This Thursday November 22, 2018 - THANKSGIVING

Hello Dancers,   

  Enjoy THANKSGIVING this Thursday.  There's NO dance at Eastlake this Thursday November 22, 2018.  But, don't forget to come back the following Thursday, November 29th, for Cowboy & Western Night with music by DJ Nickie Bascos.  


Last Thursday (November 15th) was a great STRIPES NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Eastlake.  Thanks in part to DANCESATION dancers and friends of DJ Mel Zaragoza, there were about 35 dancers enjoying the music of DJ Bing Villafuerte, as you can see in the 9 photos below.

THURSDAY NOVEMBER 15, 2018, STRIPES NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Eastlake:

LINE DANCING was non-stop from 6pm - 7pm, then off & on until closing time.  Above, some early birds were dancing to "Let Your Love Flow" line dance. It was Beth and Edith in front, more or less.

FOOD TIME. Dancers posed for a photo before eating.  Here's a "Thank You", and some credits for very delicious food. Nick & Eden brought fried anchovies, longaniza, and fried rice. Beth brought misua.  Rei and Belen brought kale salad. Geraldine brought macaroni soup. Mel Paiste brought pancit sotanghon. Rosa brought turon and suman. Elma brought tuna salad sandwiches. Phil brought Yum Yum variety donuts. And, there was more.

BALLROOM.  We guys preferred the ballroom dances. Above, first-timer Juan Carlos and Bella were enjoying "Baila Esta Cumbia".

TANGO.  DANCESATION stars Mila and DJ Abby danced to the tango "Roman Guitar", in the photo above.

THE FIRST COUPLE. The First Man Nick and First Lady Eden were recognized for all they do, and for their stripes.

STRIPES NIGHT - BEST MATCHES.  In the photo above with Judge Nina, Romi & Geraldine and Evelyn & Bernie had best matching stripes attire.  Thanks to prize donations from Rei and Josie, prizes were awarded on a randomly-chosen manner to 1 or 2 of the winners in each category.

Thursday, December 6, 2018:  DECEMBER BIRTHDAYS NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. Balloons, roses for ladies, and cake for all. DJ Bing Villafuerte.


Thursday, December 13, 2018:  NO DANCE. RESERVED FOR AN EASTLAKE EVENT.


  It's a fun dance party most every Thursday night with line dances and ballroom dances like swing including cha cha, night club 2-step, rumba and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night dancing in San Diego.  While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
