DANCE PARTY at Eastlake This Thursday November 1, 2018

Hello Dancers,   

 You are invited to a DANCE PARTY this Thursday November 1, 2018, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista. There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food, beverages. It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. The incredible DJ Bing Villafuerte will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm. 

DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

Last Thursday (October 25th) was a great HALLOWEEN DANCE PARTY at Eastlake.  Thanks in part to visiting DANCESATION stars, FASCA VIPs, the Mira Mesa BFF Dancers, and 5 first-timers, there were 55 dancers, many in Halloween costumes, enjoying the music of DJ Nickie Bascos, as you can see in the 7 photos below.

THURSDAY OCTOBER 25, 2018, HALLOWEEN DANCE PARTY, at Eastlake:

BY THE LAKE.  In costume, the Mira Mesa BFF Dancers Aurea, Beth, Pat and Virgie posed by Eastlake with Edith, in the photo above.  

LINE DANCING was non-stop from 6pm - 7pm, then off & on until closing time.  Above, some were dancing to a relatively new one for Eastlake, "Hear My Song" line dance. In the photo, it was Beth, Bing being carried, and Edith in the front line, more or less.

FOOD TIME. Dancers posed for a photo before eating.  Here's a "Thank You", and some credits for a lot of very delicious food. Nick & Eden brought ukoy, chicken macaroni soup, and fried rice. Karina brought carbonara pasta. Sheila brought assorted cakes. Carmen & Fred brought peanuts. Beth brought banana dessert. Mel Paiste brought pancit sotanghon. Nene brought puto.  Estrelle brought chicken sandwiches. Ralph brought chicken. Bert & Lennie Velasco brought chocolate cake. Rei brought Greek salad, and pichi pichi pandan. Jake brought popcorn. Marilyn brought fruit salad.  Zeny brought pumpkin pie. And, there was more.

WINNERS - GUYS. The guys in good costumes were lined up for the photo above.  DJ Mel as an early French Army Officer, Romi as an Egyption Pharaoh, and DJ Bing as . . . .  What?  I don't know.  

WINNERS - LADIES.  Many of the ladies in costume lined up for the photo above.  Some were witches or historical characters.  Eden, Eva, Karina, Dolly, Estrelle, Letty, Geraldine, Sheila, Nene, Beth, Bella, Loida, Cindy and Aurea, posed with judges Rei, Nina and Edith.

Thursday, November 15, 2018:  STRIPES NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. Prizes for best attire. DJ Bing Villafuerte.



Thursday, November 22, 2018:  NO DANCE. THANKSGIVING.


  It's a fun dance party most every Thursday night with line dances and ballroom dances like swing including cha cha, night club 2-step, rumba and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night dancing in San Diego.  While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
