Hello Dancers,  

  You are invited to a BALLROOM & LINE DANCE PARTY this coming Thursday January 30th at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista, with the great DJ Nickie Bascos.  There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food, and beverages.  It's a "private party" and this is your invitation. Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. DJ Nickie will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm.  A cool and dry night is currently forecast.

  DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

A 70's DISCO NIGHT DANCE PARTY was at Eastlake this past Thursday, January 23, 2025, with DJ Nickie Bascos, on a cool and dry night.  There were over 35 in attendance, thanks in part to 3 first-timers.  Here are 6 photos from last Thursday's Dance Party, many copied from Facebook posts:

Sheila and Karina were in the front line. Angie (hidden) and Nedy were behind them. Beth and Josie were in back.

A BALLROOM & LINE DANCE PARTY was at Eastlake this past Thursday, January 16, 2025, with DJ Nickie Bascos, on a cold and dry night.  The main gate was not opening, so dancers entered and left using the vehicle gate on the other side of the office building. NEW YEAR'S MASQUERADE DANCE PARTY at Eastlake Thursday December 26, 2024

Hello Dancers,  

  You are invited to a NEW YEAR'S MASQUERADE DANCE PARTY this coming Thursday December 26, 2024, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista, with the incredible DJ Nickie Bascos.  There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food, and beverages.  It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Masquerade-attired winners vie for prizes.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. DJ Nickie will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm.  A cold and dry night is currently forecast.

  DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

A CHRISTMAS & DECEMBER BIRTHDAYS DANCE PARTY was at Eastlake this past Thursday, December 19, 2024, with DJ Nickie Bascos, on a cool and dry night.  There were just over 70 in attendance, second highest of 2024, thanks in part to 7 first-timers.  Here are 6 photos from last Thursday's Dance Party:

 

  BEFORE EATING, dancers posed for the group photo above. Most were in Christmas attire.  Nedy gave a blessing for the food, and thankfulness for bringing us all together.

 

 

  BALLROOM DANCING was in abundance.  In Nedy's selfie photo above, Edna and Ver enjoyed dancing to what looks like a cha cha or tango.

 

 

  UPCOMING EVENTS signs were held by "Ring Girls" Edna, Sally, Apple and Tess (a first-timer) in the photo above.

 

 

  LINE DANCING was non-stop from 6pm until almost 7:30 and off & on, alternating with ballroom dances, until 10pm.  In the photo above, "The Friends" - in festive attire - performed a special line dance to "All I Want For Christmas Is You" ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yXQViqx6GMY ), choreographed by Angie.  Sheila (off camera), Eden and Karina were in front. Angie, Faye, Connie and Nedy were in the 2nd line.  Rei, Beth and Belen were in back.

 

 

  SPECIAL PERFORMANCE.  In the photo above, "The Eastlake Dancers" performed the line dance  "It's Christmastime" ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lyy6IAbwgRw ). Lolit and Irish were in front line. Geraldine, Mayeth and Eva were in the 2nd line.  Roland and Merely were in the 3rd line.

 

 

 DECEMBER BIRTHDAY CELEBRANTS posed for pictures behind another glorious birthday cake baked by Myra (Veronica).  The celebrants were Janet (a 1st-timer), Apple, Estrelle, Edna and Vangie.
