NO DANCE PARTY at Eastlake Thursday June 27, 2024

Hello Dancers,  

 Sorry, but there is NO Thursday night dance at Eastlake this Thursday, June 27th, due to another event there. But, please come back on July 11th for the July Birthdays Party.

A JUNE BIRTHDAYS DANCE PARTY was at Eastlake this past Thursday, June 20th, with DJ Nickie Bascos, on a mild and dry night.  There were almost 60 in attendance, thanks in part to 5 first-timers.  Here are 7 photos from last Thursday's Dance Party.  Most were copied from earlier Facebook posts:

 

  SIX BY EASTLAKE.  Six ladies posed by Eastlake just before the dance started.  Alice, Nora, Edith, Irish, Melba and Aurea posed for the photo above.

 

  LINE DANCING was non-stop from 6ppm to 7pm.  In the photo above, dancers seemed to be enjoying a familiar line dance. Vangie, Irish, Lolit and Chito were in front, more or less.

 

 

 BEFORE EATING, dancers posed for the group photo above. Beth gave a blessing for the food, and thankfulness for bringing us all together.

 

 

  UPCOMING EVENTS for Thursday night dancing at Eastlake.  Ring Boys Amante, Rich (a first-timer), Chito and Fred held up signs with the upcoming schedule for Thursday nights at Eastlake.  Irish and Lolit were cheerleaders. Sorry to people I told that Hawaiian Night is next - NO, the July Birthdays Party is in 3 weeks.

 

 

  "THE EASTLAKE DANCERS" performed a special line dance to "Answer The Phone" ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uAYjjv3BdOc ).  Roland and Merely were in front. Eva and Mary Jane were next.  After them were Irish, Valerie and Lolit.

 

 

  BALLROOM DANCING was in abundance.  In the photo above, first-timer Rocio and Ruben were dancing what may have been a cumbia dance.

 

 

 BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION for people with birthdays in June was about 9pm.  There were 2 people with June birthdays, Valerie in the green blouse and first-timer Vicky in the "2PAC" shirt.  Joining in the photo were Eva, Lolit, Elaine, and Edith.

 

 

UPCOMING EVENTS. The Eastlake HOA has reduced our schedule for upcoming Eastlake dances, with no dance parties on the 2 upcoming Thursdays per the above schedule.

Thursday, July 4, 2024:  NO DANCE. The clubhouse is supposedly closed on that holiday.


Thursday, July 11, 2024:  JULY BIRTHDAYS PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913.  Roses for birthday ladies. Balloons. DJ Bing Villafuerte

 It's a fun dance party most Thursday nights with line dances and ballroom dances like swing, cha cha, night club 2-step, cumbia, rumba and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night ballroom and line dancing in San Diego. This is the best Thursday night dance in San Diego, with many types of dance. While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
